Impressive with the food prep, dehydrator and vacuum sealing things. Great video!

Enjoyed your adventure very much Ethan. We did this walk in 2000 and we plan to do it again next year. Thank you for taking us along. Cheers ~ Joseph.

Great vid brings back memories of several trips. Noticed the group climbing Mt Ossa with light gear. Should always carry enough gear for at least two to survive an uncomfortable night in an emergency. It can get nasty up there. Good to see the track looks pretty much the same as years ago.

Hi Stephen, that's definitely a lesson learnt on Ossa! There was actually a man who got lost up there that day and suffered a rib injury when he fell down a cliff face. Thankfully he made it to the next hut. Will be more prepared next time we tackle something similar. Thanks for watching!

Surely unnecessary, Ossa is short enough to send a group member back down for gear if something goes hairy. Bring enough extra warm clothes, but sleeping bag/mat has gotta be overkill unless you're doing something harder/more remote like Pelion West.

This is just after my mate Steve finished up at the Hobart airport as a dog handler. Check out his book "the last dog on the island"
