I have a tip for spindly! It's right that you're focusing on long legs, but you also want to focus on a thin body too. In my experience, getting spindly is all about the leg to body ratio, and not just how long the legs are. I tried doing a few all achievements speedruns a while back, and I found feeding a dog nutrient pellets, bananas, and pancakes almost always worked for spindly!

I binge watched the series last weekend, and the pure happiness I felt when I saw this in my recommendations, it’s crazy how happy wobble dog Wednesdays makes me even tho I just started it technically
I started a new save file and managed to get spindly in only a couple generations. I selectively bred my progens for only the longest legged pups I could find and kept the simulation as long as possible. Then I fed the next gen exclusively nutrient pellets and bananas. When breeding those two I ended up getting creatures that look far more like praying mantises than dogs. I'm thinking maybe it's easier to mold default dogs? I'm gonna start with defaults for all my projects now
I studied chemistry too and actually taught that lab when I was in graduate school. The banana oil experiment was on of my favorites bc it was so tangible to the real world. Do admit it was LONG though and usually ended up split in half where we stopped after the two hour reflux.

When I took chemistry in college, the first experiment we did involved making Aqua Regia. It's an acid cocktail corrosive enough to melt gold, and all we had to protect our hands were these thin, flimsy lunch lady gloves. We also had to use sodium fluoride, and our professor told us that 'if you get this on your skin, it'll swell and turn yellow. Then we'll have to take you to the emergency room.' Again, our only protection from such fate were the thin, flimsy lunch lady gloves. Nothing bad ever happened, but needless to say we were all incredibly nervous that day! Hopefully you'll stay safe in your chemistry class!

Therm I feel so bad, you were having so much trouble finding a dog only missing that leg and meanwhile the first leg related gene I got in a dog was specifically missing the front left leg TwT On another note there’s a difference in the game between throwing up and choking on food. When they choke on food they leave behind a pellet of half eaten food but throwing up is what’s making the Bdbdbpbpb sound and that removes gut flora. Throwing a dog into a pile of food is helpful when they’re food averse or normal but if they’re a glutton they will eat basically anything in front of them and eat much faster so it becomes a nightmare to stop them from repeatedly overeating and barfing. I’d throw it into a pen of it’s own and check in to feed it regularly but that’s probably just cuz I coddle the dogs ;>_> Also also congrats on getting so far in! I still need to unlock the ants on a log myself but I haven’t played in a bit lol any advice on a surefire way of getting that achievement that gives the ants? I’ve been having trouble figuring out what things make them flat vs short or what makes them taller

Choking on food is a somewhat random event, more common the younger the wobbledog is. Vomiting is caused by excessive over eating. Glutton dogs can't be left alone in rooms with food all over because then they will constantly eat and constantly vomit.

My theory is that if you feed them too many of the same food over and over, they will desperately try to find something else to eat. But the only thing to eat is poop. Maybe mix in some dog biscuits since they have no flora to keep the dogs happy and see if that works. If you were to put a dog in a room absolutely *flooded* with one type of food, and then one poop, chances are the dog will eat that poop faster than if it was flooded with a variety of different food.

I believe most people studying chemistry have had to make isopentyl acetate (compound smelling like bananas) at some point. And I still remember that, before the lab even started, my lab partner said she can't stand that particular smell. She ended up dropping our flask with product twice, wasting most of our product. We ended up having only a few drops of it, but luckily it was obvious the synthesis was succesful, so we still got a good result

I believe most people studying chemistry have had to make isopentyl acetate (compound smelling like bananas) at some point. And I still remember that, before the lab even started, my lab partner said she can't stand that particular smell. She ended up dropping our flask with product twice, wasting most of our product. We ended up having only a few drops of it, but luckily it was obvious the synthesis was succesful, so we still got a good result
