      Ultimate Baseball Training hey Justin, another great video all these drills help so much. Thanks!!
      My 12 year old daughter played t-ball and a couple years after that. She took a break for a few years because of an injury and schedule and this summer she's picked up right where she left off.
      The league she played in this year was fairly competitive for only having a handful of players and she was picked for a joint team with our neighboring town to an invitational where she played first base like a boss.
      A few of the coaches mentioned they want to have her on a comp team traveling UT.
      Would you be able to make a video about how to improve accuracy, how to find the strike zone and throw strikes on the corners, how to play cat and mouse with bayters, how to mentally recover if you are in a tight spot, things of that nature?
      One thing our league could improve on is our pitching and where both her and my 10yr. old son (which were on the same team btw).
      I know they'd love to see and try your suggestions on those.
      Thanks again for these videos they really help with their understanding, performance and in the end, their love of the game.

    Would you mind making a video about tips to block out distraction when up at bat or how to mentally prepare yourself for a game? Thank you coach Justin!

      Many pro athletes visualize their performance before they do it. Why? Because it works. Set aside some time shortly before every game, Close your eyes and see yourself hitting the ball square, over and over again. The more detailed visualization the better. Imagine the team you are playing and the pitcher. Imagine a good swing. Over and over. Do it 20 or 30 times if you have time. And remember, once you are standing in the box, all your work is done. The only thought that should be going through your mind is: see it, hit it. Work hard in batting practice and before the game. But in the box, only see it, hit it. And be very serious on deck. Get timed up with the pitcher and pay attention to what he throws. Then walk big and confident up to the box like you own it. Because you do. Then see it, hit it.

    I use an Old Heavy Wooden 32" bat to do single handed swing drill stuff similar to what's emphasized in this video. I had a Really Heavy 35" Wooden Bat Way Back in the day. I need to get either another one like that, or bat-doughnuts. Need to up the ante,even at 49 years young.

      AlexB CoverTV If your playing second base. The shortstop has to go to second base and you go behind him in case the catcher throws the ball yo high or shortstop dosnet catch it

    • @AmmoBops
      @AmmoBops 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bido Alejandro we call this Play “2”
      The catcher usually calls it in a first and third situation, the 2nd baseman backs up shortstop and then if he missed you can get it and keep the play stable

    • @jesselawson6179
      @jesselawson6179 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@oDarlynHD at my level (13u travel) the person who gets the bag is the person who doesnt see the batters back...(the second baseman would get the bag if it was a righty and vise versa)

    Coach Justin knows... But if you're skeptical about the impact that throwing a pizza / supinated punch of the top hand makes, and you need a youtube comment to consider it... Here it is. Engrain that into your swing.
