The luxury of this Grecale is astonishing, far better than GLE. I know because i had a GLE Coupe and i have a Grecale now. Also had a Stelvio and this one drives so much better IMHO. An SUV will never feel like a sportcar and the Stelvio falls too much towards that, maybe i'm getting old but i've found the Grecale being the best one. Best SUV now. Also have an MC20 and it was so much better than the F8 Tributo which i owned. Modern Maserati products are just astonishing, aswell as their pricing TBH... 21k Euro for a goddamn paint... it looks fantastic tho (at least)

@@Testdrivemaroc nope, the engine is not the same. This Maserati uses the Nettuno engine. It's a new engine developed by Maserati and it's only used on this Grecale and the Mc20.

@@Testdrivemaroc dude no. The Nettuno engine have a double ignition chamber, higer fuel pressure and bouble direct and indirect fuel injection, double sparks plugs. The online thing they have jn common is the 90° degres cilinder architetture and the 3.0L. That's it
@@vavi1999 The basic architecture of Nettuno is that of a classic sports engine, a light and compact 90-degree V6 with some similarities to the Alfa Romeo/Ferrari F154 engine (used in particular in the Giulia Quadrifoglio). The aluminum crankcase is of the closed-deck type and the pistons slide in steel liners. The bore-to-stroke ratio of 88 x 82 mm corresponds to a supersquare engine with three liters of displacement. The Nettuno also features a true dry-sump lubrication system with external oil reservoir, dual overhead camshaft timing with variable valve timing and twin-turbo supercharging.
But the choice piece is hidden in the cylinder heads. Because the heart of the Nettuno engine is its patented dual pre-chamber ignition system. The first spark plug is placed between the valves, in a chamber separated from the combustion chamber by very narrow channels. The fuel is ejected through these ducts towards the combustion chamber during the compression phases, but only after having swirled in the pre-chamber to form an ignitable mixture. The primary ignition initiated by the spark plug propagates through the pre-chamber ports in the form of geometrically well-defined jets of flame throughout the combustion chamber, where it ignites the residual lean mixture. The advantage of flame ignition lies not only in its propagation speed, but also in the homogeneous combustion of the mixture. This excludes the risk of deposits from the fuel, residual gas nests or local overheating causing super-knock. Combustion in the pre-chamber also makes it possible to lean the mixture down to around Lambda 2. As a result, fuel consumption is reduced by at least 10%. But, above all, the better combustion and the absence of temperature peaks have the effect of eliminating up to 90% of gross NOx emissions.

@stefanomarchi3542 Right. That's why I mentioned it was similar. From what I've read, they're pretty close, except I LOVE the Grecale interior. Not sure if that's worth buying one though, haha. My Stelvio drives amazing.

He's kinda right. It's the same engine but with new pistons(same bore as Ferrari SF90 that use the same block, just with 2 extra cylindres) and of course Maserati's precamber ignition. And if you look under the hood of a Stelvio and this, it's very obvious.

@@90boiler not bad meaning for the 4.4K lbs it is quick for its length but kinda overpriced give it two years in and it will have electric problems
I would not wory for problems. Levante V6 petrol engines proved to be pretty bulletproof and only early years had some issues. It’s up to the point where Cayennes have far more issues and boy Mercedes or BMW offers a noce pck of various problems

at the time of gear changes he rides a small bump so i guess the sudden loss of loaf on the tyres make the engine's rpm jump? its just my hypothesis i might be wrong
Could just be the torque converter, my Saab does this as well to reduce gearbox strain and temperature
@@currrrrly618 The adaptation software of the gear shifts is not very well done. The torque limit is quite high so I don't think it will be a mechanical problem.
Idk FCA/Stellantis usually have quirky ZF8 on their products
