it's too bad there are ZERO patterns from Brazil... where the "Cavaquinho" is so, so , so, so popular, but not these with nylon strings, it's a soprano with stell strings, tuned differently, can you make your own patterns from scrathc? if you could, you have to team up with a Brasilian musician, programmer, cavaquinho player.....this instrument is ALMOST perfect
I bought this yesterday and I've been trying to find a way to trigger simple up and down strums on it (while the chord engine voices and handles the order of the notes for me), but I can't find a way. You seem to be forced to either play melody or patterns you can't alter other than the start and ending point of the loop. Almost any other guitar-like engine I've come across allows this basic functionality and I need this so I can have a strumming lane in my DAW which is easy to notate afterwards. To me, it's pretty basic, but in this library you can't, as far as I can tell. If anyone has found a way, please let me know as I really want to like this. If that's not the case, I would have saved those $100 and go for something more flexible

Please, make Irish Traditional Rhythm Guitar! There are absolutely no instruments, plugins or samples that provide this kind of music. Americana, pop, korean pop, trance - whatever you imagine. Not a single library of true traditional guitar. Ambient-cringe-pseudo-folk-modern-tasteless stuff - all over the place, traditional cittern/guitar for Irish/Swedish music - literally zero libraries on the market. Lunsa, KAN, Flook - hundreds of bands, but no good library yet.
Now we just need a Session Banjo 😀

This library alone might be a good enough reason for me to ugrade from Kontakt 6 to Kontakt 7.
