I always wonder how much torque the engine really makes with a supercharger. I'd imagine it actually has to be producing more than what the dyno reports since it has to use power to spin the supercharger.
I noticed that the car reached over 690WHP on e50. What are your projections for power on e85?

More popular to do the air to ait setups with the automatic transmissions. Hopefully with the VR30 transmission swaps more people will start looking at doing turbos. Most of our automatic kits have been installed/tuned by other shops.

Maybe I missed it but curious how much boost pressure to make this number with your kit ? With e50 im guessing more than 18 ?

Is over 650 safe? It's gone for barley touching 600 to 700 in the matter of 2021 lol just wondering bc I'm going the soho air to air supercharger
Torque is what kills motors, if the torque is kept under 550 lb ft you’ll be fine. The guys who are pushing 700 hp are doing so with torque not exceeding 550 lb ft. This will also move the meat of your powerband up top. So you can cruise around low-mid rpm and keep your motor safe.
@@megashocker333 pretty safe. It can handle the power.
As ben said and we said in the video, it isn't HP that kills these motors. Also, most people aren't riding around in high boost or kill maps on a day-to-day basis.

The turbo kit is not the lowest point on the car, we have a few bagged cars that run this setup as well without any issues
@@SOHOMotorsports ahh I see thanks for the quick responses brotha , my nismo currently has 63k miles on it’s a 14 , if I keep it on safe side low boost 7 psi , how long could the stock block last me “ yes sorta hard to guess “ but was just wondering cause I’ve asked some say up to 10-30k miles

2jz is a closed deck cast iron block that can handle high power. This build is just to promote their products. The vq will pop in due time. High compression motor , open deck block.
A better question is, how can I build this and still pass smog in CA? 🥲
This is the question of the century. Wish it would get answered if I can get 500+ will pass smog sign me up. The stillen kit will blow your motor to pass smog (over time that is) sales will go up 70% in cali alone if this is possible
