I must admit, I miss how in Eyes of Heaven when Kosaku used Bites the Dust, it would put you back in the loading screen to reload the stage. It really felt like you were going back in time to the beginning of the match.
Well, that's because the console had to keep 10 seconds of "lag" whenever Kosaku was chosen, and access that data for stage and ^four^ whole character models, and their buffs and HP, whenever you used Bites The Dust.

i always think that okuyasu's great heat attack is special because it's the only great heat attack that ACTUALLY hurts himself.

Phantom blood dio’s voice actor is really trying with the performance and I think it’s the best one in the game

just to make it that much more accurate to the reference, since it's from the end of the Highway Star fight, where he heals HS's user from a broken arm, then punches him out the window
Also he can lose from that if his health is lower and the heal happened right before time out

weird thing to notice, but they removed the depth of field effect on some moves, most noticeably Kosaku Kawajiri Kira's GHA. It used to show a blur on the eyes closeup and also with Hayato behind Bite The Dust. Also just in general a lot of these have been sped up.

yeah, probably my only gripe with the voice acting is how faster they're now that compared to the original kinda seems like they're in a hurry

They did add the anime sfx for the World because in the previous game it sounded like a clock bell ringing whenever Dio/Jotaro stopped time.

Considering that they managed to adapt Joshu into EoH, I'm surprised they didn't include him. Not to mention Jobin or Mamezuku who would also have been great fighters from JJL.
Gappy got the same VA, but he did a retake just like the other cast. (other than part 7)

Gyro is 100% getting recast. He’s a legend in the industry and all of the anime recasts have been with cheaper people
@@DBShinnin aside of polnareff and kakyoin i don't think it's the case. typically the recasts are someone who are more famous to general audiences or scheduling conflict because anime recordings are much more tight than games

Do you really believe the voices of Sanji, Sasuke/Uryu/Shiro, Edward Elric, Levi, Fujiko Mine, Aizen, Kotomine, or Kiritsugu are less famous to general audiences than who took over their roles? Hell, Stone Ocean’s core cast was replaced by Lucci (Pucci), current Killua (F.F.) and a bunch of comparative nobodies (Jolyne & Ermes).
It’s more likely money. Paying top-rated/veteran talent for one or two short games is probably cheaper than paying them for 10+ episodes (factoring in main villains as well, not just the main cast) in a 30+ episode series.

Take note that when doing the ultras or heat heart attack, it would use all the bars for the extra damage. If level one, just does 25% damage like all the heat attacks.

Gotta admit, it's cool to see it running at an actually good frame rate. Wonder if it plays well though. If it does, maybe I can talk my buddy, who also likes Jojo, into buying this with me for some silly fun.
I think it’s a lot of fun to play with my friends. Maining my favorite characters and working to destroy my friends is a lot of fun.
I think the use of Purple Haze Distortion is a really nice touch

I really hope Yuki Kaji will voice Johnny in SBR anime as well.

It's probably the case of "I remembered it better", I always thought that Giorno's VA in the original ASB was kinda weak, but the new one GAWD DAM did he kill it with the "The power of the arrow" and "Gold experience requiem" lines, I also consider the Dio "ROAD ROLLER" line hits harder then the last one, personally I really enjoy the re-cast

I'm hoping there's more Part 8 representation in future DLC updates than just Joshuu since the manga is over. Also the Stand user for "Dragon's Dream" from Part 6 would be a shoe-in for this game.
I really hope Lang Rangler (Jumpin' Jack Flash's user) makes it in as DLC (if there is more than 1 wave).
Honestly I don't want Joshu back, I know he was a character in Eyes of Heaven, but he was just there because they had no other choice, now we have Mamezuku Rai, who is more relevant and more suited for battle than Joshu, he should be the next JoJolion character to be added

Considering the old gha was stupid and probably spoilerish for the anime, I guess it is necessary. Pucci definitely has the worst and most impractical GHA in ASB back then, at least now it's so much more practical.
@@CrnaStrela I'm pretty sure it was changed to avoid anime spoilers rather than for practicality. The later version of Pucci is coming in a free update.
@@CrnaStrela Nah, that version was too OP, the chanting part may be annoying but you can pull 2 chants every time you knock someone down, and if you manage to pull Made in Heaven, you basically won the fight unless you're fighting against Giorno.

They will probably add New Moon Pucci with Cmoon and Mih like in eyes of heaven.Also prob bc they dont have official Voicelines for Cmoon and no sound effects for them.
I appreaciate how everyone fights their biggest opponent: Jotaro fights DIO, Jolyne fights Pucci, Fugo fights Giorno, it just makes sense!
These do a lot more damage which is a nice change
