Love Manuela’s! Note that this is a cash only food truck, some tropical flavors are seasonal because they are freshly made fillings, and you will wait because they are fried and filled to order.
Thanks for watching. You are right it’s cash only. I forgot to mentioned that important part. Ill pin your comment so people can see it when they watch.
Kurtistown cafe next to the 7/11 (…..edit…..on highway 11)on your right coming down the mountain into Hilo from volcanoes national park…they have excellent poke and plate lunches/dinners🤙
Yes…keep them in mind….you may have something to report on here…you wouldn’t exactly think that the place sitting back a little across from the gas pumps would be fantastically great at very reasonable prices….very clean…I have yet to have a bad meal there@@jeztravel
Hi benn thanks for watching. If you are looking for real luxury, hands down four seasons in oahu and Grand Wailea in Maui. Alternative not too pricey is Hilton Hawaiian Village in Oahu. I have a video on that one. Hyatt Regency Maui in Maui. I have video of that one as well.
Malasadas on Big Island are a big disapointment. A huge floor doughball covered in Grease rolled in GRANULAR SUGAR. Texture of oil soaked beach sand with fillings vibrating sickening sweet overload. Try fine donuts or fresh Puffpaste rolls.

$14 for 3? HUGhs! $1 in ingredients . GIP!
Tex Drive-In is not in Hilo. It is in Honoka'a, which is about 50 miles from Hilo, along the Hamakua Coast.
Thank you for the clarification
This video makes me want to go to the Big Island just to eat. Great video btw.

Thank you for the clarification

Nahh, you whack brah!!!
I agree as had one of the worst malasadas at Tex,s Drive-Inn. It was very doughy and not light and airy like other malasadas I have had
Tex drive inn is not locally owned anymore.
Really? Oh wow
All the reviews are of fish except for the pancakes. I think mixing it up would have been better, try a pork dish or chicken too.
Thank you for the comment 🙏
You left out alot of places that are cheap to eat in Hilo. Your title should west side. Not all of the big island.
Thank you for your comment 🙏
