As the field is strong that helps the field stay strong with lots of people coming. It's also known to be a fast course. My 5k time, 28 mins. Le TH-cam suggesting me Sub 14 min 5k run 🙄 Had I been in the middle of this group, everyone would have crushed me and ran over me while I was lying there.

Every time someone is starting too fast and running the first km in top position, just to be never seen again after that. Really good strategy....
I was thinking the same at the beginning, but the dude still finished sub 14:30 in the top ten. The field was just too strong for him on that day.
Sometimes its adrenaline you just get pushed into a pace that you think you can hold and then the adrenaline goes and you fall back
