I would agree with gl 1100 on swapping the engine, but to answer your question: - Bandit 1200 header - 5* ignition advance - Camshafts from a 1988 GSXR 750 (there’s a certain year that’s best, I can’t remember which) - Barnett clutch - Rejet the carbs - Keep the stock airbox - Change the sprockets (down 1 tooth on front and up 2 teeth on rear is popular) - Lower the suspension to make it a harder to wheelie so you can launch harder Katriders is a good forum for info Was running 12.60’s stock and after I did the above mentioned to my 600 i ran a best of 11.89 in the quarter. What mods did you have on it? I got one as a first bike last April I want to upgrade but I’m attached to it now I want to make it faster if possible
I would go for a 750 or even swap a bandit 1200 engine before modding for power.

I’m not sure what would be involved in a bandit 1200 swap. You can try the katriders dotcom website. Lots of good info there
@@Jimmy-mt6ze very very simple (for someone comfortable with larger jobs) as is the previous gen gsxr 750 which was still air cooled.
