Man you are awesome! I was so stoked to finally meet you man, and thank you for doing this! Hopefully one of these days we can work on a video project together. Thanks again brother!
Just too electronic for the world we're entering into... Old school points, distributor and carburetor are the direction people should really be going with a stock of replacement parts while they can ve had.
I never followed TH-camrs before I bought my Jeep… You were the first and Tyler was the second that I ever followed…haha, weird that you are both Toyota guys and I’m a Jeep guy. You both do a great job though and I greatly appreciate both of you.
RICHY, maybe you should get one also then raffle your current vehicle once you take out of it what should not be left with it. The raffle or auction if you go for that or even regular sale should help pay for your purchase. GO FOR IT!
I am IN for the knife/ bucksaw drawing thank you for all these years of fantastic content RFB we appreciate you- welcome home, see you in Joshua Tree if you roll through.
Im scared of the 4 cylinder Turbo It stopped me from buying many SUVs, Trucks,Even A Dodge Hornet Fast As Hell But 4 Cylinder Turbo. Great Video ,Thank You Brother Rich.
Good interview Richie , i had a 97 Toyota Tacom SR 5 2.7 L automatic trans. Its had 2 wheel drive steel wheels instead of aluminum and small tires . Literally knuckle draggers ! A older couple bought it new and couldnt get in it , so they lowered the 4X4 truck . It had step tubes on it . I could sit in it and put my palms on the ground . I put 33 10 .50 back on it and went from 300 miles to a tank full to 200 miles to a tank full of gas ! .Loved how it looked . But couldnt go 55 up a hill ! Got rid of it . That V6 was V shit ! Lol peace and love brother !
Great video. I also luved part 1 luved the camera action on Drone. Cheers for sharing as im not in the U.S i doubt I will ever see this kind of outback etc. Keep hem coming bro 🙏🙏 keeps me distracted from tbe B.S in the world
I also like factory installed most things. But only con for me is the rock slider. I wish it is 0 degree running board type rock slider with kickout instead of narrow single bar hugging the body.
@@jailbreakoverlander sorry I am distracted. I heard you say, over a decade ago, that a marriage to someone who rejects the truth would never work. I am leaving my home tonight.
Tyler is a cool dude. A front locker is overrated anyway. My rubicon has one and I wheel a lot never use it. I’m glad Toyota finally took some ideas from jeep
I wanted the new 2024 Tacoma trail hunter until I saw the 63 grand price plus the ridiculous 5 grand plus dealers markup. Living in Tennessee I would have had to pay 9.75% sales tax so it would have cost me almost 75 grand to own one. So I decided just to buy a 2024 Colorado zr2 for 51 grand plus 9.75% sales tax. This upcoming week I am going to get bigger 34 to 35" tires and either bronze or gold colored 17" wheels as my truck is harvest bronze metallic color. Those colored wheels should make the truck standout better. I decided not to buy the zr2 bison as it cost 11,700.00 more for the AVE steel bumpers/ boron skid plates and bigger 35" tires on bear , icu 17" black wheels. I can go after market and make those same changes to my base zr2 and probably save a good 4 to 5 grand.
Why? So the engine can be blown 24/7? Ford diesel’s are absolute garbage. There was a time I’d say their trucks were too. However, today….. ALL pickups are garbage but Toyota’s new hybrid garbage in the Taco are a step above in the garbage department. I’d rather a Ranger Raptor than this convoluted thing
@beri232 so far my 2019 f250 has had no problems. The engine is 450 hp and 900 ft lbs of torque. My truck accelerates like a sports car. I'm not a gear head. The only engines I'm familiar with is the straight 6 300 that Ford made in the 70s. A Chevy 350 , a Toyota 22r engine they used to put in small Toyota trucks. The 300 was an east to work on engine and left lots of room in the engine bay. I'd rather have just a stock engine w lots of power than taking one of these stock engines and adding turbos and superchargers..The 6.7 I have now would probably be even better of the environmental equipment was removed also.

The 2.7L was a 4-cylinder, the 3.4L was the V6.
No front locker and no alternator on the hybrids. Good luck when that breaks
