2012 Chevy Camaro V6 Oil Change Tutorial & Walkthrough

- In this video I do a walkthrough of an oil change on a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro (5th Gen) with a V6 Engine. The engine takes 6.0 quarts of 5W-30 oil. Chevy/GM states to use a synthetic blend in the owners manual. I use full synthetic.
I learned how to work on my first car through TH-cam and now I'm trying to pay it forward and help out the next person. Learning how to change your own oil can save you money over time & you can rest assured that you did the work correctly compared to having the shop potentially not do something correctly.

Changing your oil at 0% will not hurt the engine at long as you keep it full. In other words, don't ride around a half quart low Monday because you are going to change it Friday.

3:08 pinch weld on some cars are not strong enough to hold a floor jack. You need to use the sub-frame.
