It was hard but we were and are all comforted by feeling his spirit around us as well as knowing that he was at peace. You're husband's vessel is just gone but he isn't. I pray for your strength.
@@TH-ys2ud Thank you for your condolonces and kind words. He lives on in my heart and mind forever. He was only 50 years old when Covid ended his life. But he had been suffering with Diabetes and heart issues for some years. I am happy that his suffering has ended, but my heart aches every day. I try to keep in good spirits, but there are those days when the sadness and grief takes over. But God pulls me up and makes me strong....oh my Savior!!! I may weep in the darkness of night but joy comes in the morning. What hurts me the most is that I couldn't be there for his ending days because of the circumstances. My underlying conditions and his Covid would have been too risky for us. We have 5 daughters, ranging from 13 to 25. It's been hard for all of us, but we keep our faith in God, pray for strength, and look forward to brighter days. We are blessed, despite the challenges and unfortunate circumstances we have faced. We are a family of strong queens. And though we have lost our king, our Father, the King of all kings still reigns. I'm sorry for your loss as well. I share your pain with you. God bless you and you and your family, and I pray for your continued peace and blessings🙏❤

“The Lady in My Life” was one of the most difficult tracks to cut. We were used to doing a lot of takes in order to get a vocal as nearly perfect as possible, but Quincy wasn’t satisfied with my work on that song, even after literally dozens of takes. Finally he took me aside late one session and told me he wanted me to beg. That’s what he said. He wanted me to go back to the studio and literally beg for it. So I went back in and had them turn off the studio lights and close the curtain between the studio and the control room so I wouldn’t feel self-conscious. Q started the tape and I begged. The result is what you hear in the grooves."

This melody is haunting. It makes me so emotional. My daughter passed away from cancer in Feb 2018, two months before her wedding in April. I think this was the song they were going to dance to. Hands down the finest song from Thriller, and that's saying a lot. Way long before TH-cam I used to have this song on repeat in my Walkman, thinking I was the only one obsessing with it. One of the best songs ever written, sung and recorded.

I've always preferred Michael's ballads to his dance songs. This song, I Can't Help it, Butterflies, Human Nature,I Just Can't Stop Loving You, etc. All among my absolute favorites.

Lost my mother 14 yrs ago , I'm 39 . . . She never got to see her granddaughter ride a bike , make the honor roll, accomplish so much and she wont get to see her graduate high school next week. So I dedicate this to my mother , my only child , my daughter whom I am very proud of and love very much and to my beautiful, strong, outstanding girlfriend. I almost gave up on love and did not think it was worth seeking anymore. God works in mysterious ways and she came in when I needed love the most . I didn't even realize this until someone pointed it out....my husband died from Covid on August 28th, the day before Michael's birthday....and just 24 days after our anniversary. For the most part I'm ok. I was very depressed at first, and I still have my days. But we have 5 daughters, and I have to keep it together and remain strong for them. I'm not ready to die and leave my girls just yet. But I can't help but feel my husband was the lucky one. He is now resting in our Father's kingdom, which is so much better than the world we live in. He doesn't have to suffer with any hurt or pain anymore. He's on top of the world now, and knowing that he has found peace and solace with the Lord is what comforts me on those long stressful days and cold lonely nights. When I call him, he comes. He fills my soul and spirit with joy and happiness when I'm sad. He fills my heart with love and my mind with understanding, strength, and motivation to move forward. My husband had been suffering with diabetes and heart failure for some years, but his suffering has finly ended. God is now taking care of him, better than I or any doctor ever could. Heaven may have gained an angel, but I lost my soul mate. My heart may be broken, but it's still beating. And I thank God everyday for His love, mercy, forgiveness, and protection. Life is so precious and fragile, and we often take it for granted. This pandemic is a wake up call to all of us. We are being warned that there is a battle underway in the spiritual world. And if we don't serve and put our faith in God, we will spend eternity in darkness. Pray every chance you get, and don't let one day go by without thanking him and asking for protection, guidance, and forgiveness for your sins. We've all sinned and been unrighteous. We are human. We all face Judgment day, and we must answer to God for what we've done here on earth. That's why it's so important to confess your sins, repent, and try to live a clean, holy, and righteous life. Some of us don't even acknowledge His existence and presence in our lives. We get so caught up in the world we don't count our blessings or truly appreciate them. Some people don't even believe in Him. Science, technology, and the enemy's deceptive persuasion has replaced God for some. But those who know Him, and have witnessed His miracles are here for it. Stay safe my dear. God bless🙏💯❤
