I don't understand why people keep calling this a "kiddie coaster" - It's like 80 feet tall and has more airtime than any roller coaster in California! It was seriously FUN ride! Yes, it's more of a "family" coaster, but big deal - that didn't stop it from being a lot of FUN!
I rode this back in 1982 or 1983 at Boblo park. It was part of the ACE Spring Conference or whatever they called it back then. I'm glad this ride was saved and not scrapped. Too bad it ended up in Mexico as it would have made a terrific kiddie/family coaster at any number of traditional U.S. parks. As Robb said, "Simple but effective" In my opinion, this gives Gemini Jr a run for its money...lol
When it was at Boblo, there was never a long line and you could ride it over and over, I remember when I was young in the late 70's, Boblo would let your parents sign a waiver and you could ride the big rides.LOL. This was my first coaster when I was about 8 years old.
This ride looks a lot of fun, imagine if the lift hill was 100ft or 105ft high as the "airtime" would be amazing, give it a banked turnaround to keep the speed up.
Omg this coaster is still alive!? I gotta know who made this coaster cuz it doesn't show up on TOGO/Arrow Dynamics! I just so happened to catch a glimpse of this coaster on the Netflix series Unsolved Mysteries (Lady in the Lake episode) and it triggered me into my own mystery solving adventure!
omg rob i remember going on this when i was a kid thank u for that the trains are diffrent tho from boblo island omg thank u brings back memories and i have pictures on it
This was a big deal for me when I first rode it in '86 at the ripe age of 9. This was one of my favourites at Boblo, and lemme assure those who call it a kiddie coaster, when this ride opened, it was a big deal.
Boblo Island closed before my time....well when i was very very young( a toddler). Also the fact I lived in the Chicago area so we werent close either. but i wonder if boblo was still around would it be in par with Cedar Point with more modern coasters and such or would of it still stayed the same? Would be interesting to imagine what Boblo would be like today if it was still around.
I can't tell whether you're being sarcastic or not you could be because it looks really old and about to break but you could also not be because it's a really boring ride
Nice coaster.

This what i call a great review!

This made me smile, good to see everyone. I've been on Sky Streak at Boblo but haven't been on it since it was moved.
Boblo Island? the one near Detroit? Wow!
This reminds me of the old Sky Streak coaster at Bob-Lo
It is! The ride was moved here after Boblo closed.

Boblo used to be about 5 miles from me. I really wish it was still there because I never got to ride this.
It is the old Sky Streak from Bob-Lo Island.
For anyone who has fears of roller coasters, this one's for you.
I used to ride thing so many times growing up at Boblo, thanks for posting

One day in 1975, my best friend Richie and I rode this coaster 35 times.
Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane!
Nightmare was relocated to Amarillo, Texas, and Screamer is Corkscrew at Playland.
Sadly, Playland removed Corkscrew, two years ago, if memory serves.
@@stillbuyvhs yeah, I was pretty sad when I saw that
It's not a bad kiddy coaster. I might actually ride that once if I get the chance.
What's with the flat part? It seems like there should be a tunnel or something there.
Despite its appearance, it looks to be a really good ride!
depends on your definition of basic, because a lot of B&M hypers are steel out-and-backers, and I guess they're "basic"
Is that the old Mouse I see on the right towards the end as well?
I could get on that, it looks epic.
Really?
Show me :D
This looks like a nice, fun family coaster!
This looks almost exactly like my first roller coaster tycoon coaster.
This looks like something you would see in Japan parks
Were going here today
I rode this a long time ago
Yep it was at boblo island.its a different name now.what a awesome coaster
i think titan is more of a thrill ride cause of all the air time
What a view from the top of the lift hill. I said it before and I will say it again and again, you do amazing videos Robb~
Rob/Boston

i almost fell out of this death trap
Even more than Goliath at Magic Mountain?
U could call this a Japanese coaster in Mexico ( coz of the railing)
To me this sounds another Cyclone at Toshimaen.
did you guys rode ''Los Troncos''?
I've ride this one a lot of times, and it feels AWESOME
Is this in Guadalajara, right?
A kiddie coaster.. It is for the faint at heart.
i can fit this thing in my back yard, i am serious, my back yard is huge
I wish I could have been old enough to remember boblo island and go on this, but sadly I was 3 whe n it closed. but I'm glad it's still in use.
"Magic Jungle" - Great name.

SEM GRAÇA ESTÁ MONTANHA RUSSA.
"Boring!" No... SHUT UP! Not every coaster needs shitty inversions lol

I can't tell whether you're being sarcastic or not you could be because it looks really old and about to break but you could also not be because it's a really boring ride
