  • The items needed for this project are as follows:
    *24 peg round loom
    *Loom knit tool(yarn tool)
    *Bulky Yarn #5 or #6 ( I used a Bulky Caron Cake.) The green sock was made with Charisma yarn. I personally thought the Charisma yarn worked up better.
    *Sharp Scissors
    Need help on the heel or toe part of the slipper? Check out this video that specifically focuses on the heel! (The heel and toe of this sock are made the same!) • How to Knit a Heel for...

    I use a sharpie or electrical tape to mark the pegs where I am suppose to purl………also there is an app called Counter that I use to help me keep track of my stitches . It works great.also when u r working on the heel u made a mistake u said move the loop from peg 10 to peg 9 when u should of said move the loop from peg 11 to peg 10.

    When you are putting the stitches back on the loom when closing the toe, you have 2 pegs that have 2 stitches, but these seem to disappear. I don't see them when you do the last row of knitting or when you are sewing the toe. Do they get knitted as one, same as the heel?

    Thank you so much for doing such a detailed video for us beginners! I have a gift card to Amazon I'm going to use to buy a small 36 peg loom. Do you know how many inches wide the loom Is? It looks like about 3 inches wide. Thanks again!

    • @GinaLay
      @GinaLay  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Melisa Crider Awh! You are so sweet! Thanks for taking the time to comment!💕It means a lot to me! The loom in this video is a 24 peg and measures across about 4 1/2 inches from peg to peg. On the back of the loom it says 5/8 gauge. I hope this helps. 💕

    Sorry another quick question. Could this pattern be used on a small gauge 3/8 loom using medium #4 weight yarn?

    • @GinaLay
      @GinaLay  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am sorry but I do not know for sure because I don’t own a small gauge loom.
      You could always try, but I’m sorry I can’t say for sure and I don’t want to lead you in the wrong direction. ♥️

    • @ruthlanni898
      @ruthlanni898 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GinaLay no worries I’m going to experiment. I have to say using two strands of medium weight and or bulky yarn creates a really cozy slipper. A thinner yarn maybe less comfy.

    Question: Should I make the length of my sock the length of my foot minus the 1” of what would be a toe area? Does the toe area add an inch or so? I don’t want to kit til the end of my foot, and then add a toe, which would make it an inch too long. Thank you.
    Ps...I was trying to look at the toe up close at the end of the video, but the whole sock is not in the video. In all the shots of the sock, the toe is cut off!
