I was in Mongolia teaching English in the summer of 2001 and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I love the people so much and miss my students to this day.

And it needs to be this way, if its people are to survive in the country's harsh continental climate. Mongolia's culture is absolutely beautiful, and it's people are so amazing and hospitable. As a culture enthusiast, especially for East Asian cultures, I would love to visit Mongolia one day, and meet its people. Cheers from the United States! 🇲🇳🇺🇸

i miss my grandpa s dumpling! everything on your table is definetely 100% mongolian local food. i already feel homesick now😣 Also happy for you found a good local restorant. it s not easy for travelers
One Mongolian right here!!Here's a little lifehack. so u make tsuivan is a dinner the night before and in the next day u just add that mongolian milk tea to it and u eat it as a noodle soup. One time a Japanese man visited Mongolia and had a meal at a mongolian household. The food they give him was tsuivan with milk tea. next day the Japanese man asked to have the meal he had the day before (tsuivan+milk tea) and no one knew what that was (bc it's not an actual meal) so the way he described was "noodle in white soup". And from that on Mongolians started to use "noodle in white soup" as a name for tsuivan+milk tea 😂😂😂
That noodle soup looks amazing. It makes me want to try some Mongolian food. And I love how the menu is in English, the Cyrillic alphabet and the traditional Mongolian scripture.
Food, as is culture, is often defined by the weather. I was in Changchun for 3 years, and had lamb soup for dinner in order to counter the cold Changchun nights. I once drover to "inner" Mongolia, and had lamb again, but would not drink, because I went as a driver. The school we visited had a stove in the center that ran on coal. I have never been so cold!
My family is Slavic and some of these dishes are very similar to the ones I had growing up. Meaty/hearty/filling all around. I'm vegetarian now so I don't eat many of the foods I had growing up but it's still cool to see the similarities!
Mongolia is one of the countries I'd really love to visit that seems like it has food that I could easily eat because it doesn't seem to have a lot of hot peppers in it and while I'd love to be able to eat spicy foods my ulcer doesn't allow it.

I love it too...I literally just ate a bowl of steamed broccoli :)
I think kids hate it because people tend to over cook it. It comes out extremely bitter, mushy, and bland; the nutrients are burned off, which is counter intuitive. Plain steamed broccoli, stir fried, or baked broccoli is delicious.
Me too
Ainjulle I love broccoli, but it doesn’t love me back 😢
It is good to see a foreign man enjoying our food. Thank you for the video. You have one more subscriber.
Leave the tsuivan overnight, pour hot milk tea in the morning. That makes it better. (Fresh tsuivan is good too, which is you are enjoying in this video.)
