Russia and Mongolia Nomads. How do they live nowadays?
This film was filmed in the Yamal tundra, 100 km from the capital of the Far North, Salekhard.
Nenets nomads live here. These are the small people of Russia. There are about 43 thousand of them left. They live by reindeer herding. Thanks to deer, they have food, shelter, clothing and transportation.
They live in cone-shaped dwellings called chums. It is collected from poles and deer skins. In the center of the dwelling there is a fireplace, with the help of which food is prepared and the tent is heated.
In the mountains of Mongolia along the border with Russia, where the Tsaatan reindeer herders live in the heart of this amazing world. Far from the noise of the modern world, these people became the guardians of the ancient traditions and ancient customs of their people.
Their main occupation is reindeer herding, a traditional trade that is passed down from generation to generation. Reindeer play an important role in the life of the Tsaatans, providing them with meat, milk and hides, as well as a means of transportation over the harsh and uneven terrain. The Tsaatans skillfully manage herds of reindeer, caring for them and ensuring their health and well-being.
Reindeer are the Tsaatans' main source of survival in the mountains. They are invaluable creatures that help Tsaatan families not only find food and lead normal lives, but also carry out cultural and religious rituals associated with their belief in shamanism.

The village life of an elderly couple in a mountain village represents a unique rural life. These old men who live their lives on top of the mountain have experienced a lot and have become an iconic image of village life. They are an example of hard life in the mountains and show how people live in harsh conditions.
One of the features of the life of an old couple in a mountain village is traditional food and village cooking. They are prepared only from natural products collected around their village. This country food is full of flavor and organic, making it super delicious.

These nomads live in absolute freedom. We only dream of freedom out here in the modern West, but they are living it. Peacefully amongst nature, with cariboo and fresh snow, they survive in unity with family. There are no taxes, no parking tickets, no protestors, no celebrities, no noise. Just natural wholesome blessed life. Treasure is not found among the wealthy, yet among the hearty and wise.

Это со стороны кажется легко и красиво. На самом деле жизнь кочевников это постоянный, каждодневный, требующий усилий труд, при всём при этом суровые климатические условия, где зимой температура воздуха опускается до - 60 градусов, летом заедает гнус. Эти люди сильные люди. Пусть всё у них будет хорошо.

Удивляешься, люди живут без каких- либо удобств, а у них чистая посуда, чистая одежда. А мы живем со всеми удобствами, драишь посуду, стиральная машинка работает без остановки, а идеальной чистоты все равно нет. У нас много всякой химии для стирки, уборки.
