Kali Linux/Raspbian: How To Change VNC Window Resolution

I was having trouble at first finding the boot folder but was able to find it like this
cd /
ls
cd boot
just in case anyone else has this problem

my kali is not accepting my reboot command. I logged it out and when i logged in the screen was blank

i was using it on windows. i had to kill through putty and get a new vnc server
