1. ASIMO
The Honda Motor Company developed ASIMO, which stands for Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility, and is one of the most advanced humanoid robots in the world. According to the ASIMO Web site, ASIMO is the first humanoid robot in the world that can walk independently and climb stairs.
In addition to ASIMO's ability to walk like we do, it can also understand preprogrammed gestures and spoken commands, recognize voices and faces and interface with IC Communication cards. ASIMO has arms and hands so it can do things like turn on light switches, open doors, carry objects, and push carts.
2. HRP-4C
HRP-4C was developed by AIST National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology in Tokyo, Japan. The humanoid robot was unveiled publicly for the first time in March 2009. With a human shape, HRP 4C is 5'2 and 95 lbs. In addition to being able to express certain expressions on his face, the android can have a conversation through a voice recognition module integrated.

3. NAO
NAO is the most widely used humanoid robot for academic purposes worldwide.It is a versatile platform used to explore a wide variety of research topics in robotics as well as computer science, human-machine interaction, and the social sciences.NAO's many sensors and actuators, convenient size, and attractive appearance, combined with sophisticated embedded software, makes it a unique humanoid robot ideal for many research fields. NAO boasts, for example, face and object recognition, automatic speech recognition, text-to-speech in seven languages, and whole body motion.

Funny how the caption says "HRP-4 moves like real human" while the video shows exactly they contrarly (they do NOT move like humans). What they probably mean is that their articulations and body structure is somehow similar to humans, but the movement is still far from us.

Miya thanks for the video, is there any new videos for other different models, it will be nice to see different robots, so far Asimo is the best, but is too small and too slow, a new model will be better than the current actual model, I like to see a new bigger model of Asimo without that backpack he seems to be caring it.

Why is NAO in this video. He is in a whole different league. More of a toy quality wise. Not a bad thing, but more of a teaching aid for school or a toy.
I don't see why they would give NAO, or any other robot, rebellious behavior.
For a Robot, id rather have one that looks like Asimo, rather then a ACTUAL human like the first one xD

I'm gonna buy Asimo, hoping it can do simple tasks around the house like cleaning and walking the dog. And errands too like going to the store and getting groceries...soon everyone will have one of these robots, whether it be Asimo, NAO, or HPR-4.

why being creeped out, everyone ? a mad human can kill you but these robots can't truly harm humans, they're not enough strong for the moment. and who thinks that a robot will in the future NECESSARILY wish to anihilate humans watched too many science fiction movies.

Nao is so funny!. HR has minimal leg movements in the dance routine,no doubt to keep balance. Asimo is a legend of course. In terms of cuteness it has to be Nao. I guess it all depends what you want a robot for. I would love one for companionship, with the internet built into its system. No doubt applications will be developed which are rather dubious but with each year of progress they do get more and more sophisticated and lifelike. Terminator anyone?. I mean we do have a company named Sky!..
