This is a great lesson. Thanks for doing it slow in the beginning, and describing the pull off. This will really challenge me and that left pinky finger. Which is the one I am trying to Rehabilite the most. A physical challenge, mentally I already got this. WELL I TRIED IT, WAS BETTER OFF PICKING INSTEAD OF PULLOFF. That pulloff with pinky finger is challenging.

I've always pulled off noteswith a sideways down motion,but the other day I found that US finger picker Doyle Dykes sort of "pushes off" with a slight upward motion, also like James Taylor, he uses unusual fingerings for common chird shapes like open D and G orninth shapes. For the sort of stuff legato playing seems to need though, of course the usual way works better, but you never know... everyone's hands and approaches have to work for them ( I wonder what this conversation would be judged as by an uninformed bystander-sort of that isn't what she said!!) Nice playing in one of my favourit melodic elements (pentatonic) works for me whether it's EJ , or Skye boat song!
