Dude! I bought one of those things and JKM showed me something I never realized: using it to rehinge the wrist post impact. Practiced with it yesterday a little and tried it on the course. My right hand was never so engaged in the swing. Really getting in shaping shots. Great video. Goes into my playlist.
Great instruction on the club face control at impact! Ben Hogan mentioned about it decades ago in his book about the supination of the leading wrist at impact! Nothing changed much. ; )

i have a glove type device with a rigid piece in it that keeps the right wrist bent back like that but i've never used it, will have to get it out and try it. the one you have seems to work really well but looks a bit medieval.
I've ordered this as I'm really struggling at the moment with flipping a bit before impact but am I right in thinking the your right wrist and hand should end up flat after impact into the follow through. Wouldn't this aid stop that from happening. I'm confused big time I think 🤔

Only time and practice will tell if I stop my loss of 10-15 yards on all shots due to flipping at/before impact. Interesting that I started losing yardage once I began S&T over a year ago. I'm striking the ball more consistently, but still have impact issues.
Is there a suggestion as to how much shaft lean should be made at impact? Is it the same for all clubs? Does the "built-in" shaft lean of the each club (each club being different) tell us how much lean should be attained at the moment of striking the ball?

There are 4 movements of the wrist and two movements of the forearm. There are 3 ways to close the clubface 1. Chest rotation 2. Supination ( rolling) of the lead forearm so that the lead palm faces more up. 3. Extending of the lead wrist ( flexing the trail wrist Chest rotation ( sternum pointing in front of the ball at impact ) is present in top players and is lacking in less talented players Supination is present in almost all players , but is controlled in better players . Extension of the lead wrist is a movement present in average to poorer players . Another term for this is FLIPPING

This is a great device. I noticed that delaying the hit until my left shoulder is higher than my right forces my hands to be more forward as well.
