Honestly, I wouldnt doubt it as Lego is constantly being used by people to make Transformers and other mechs like Gundams on LDD, back when LDD was really in its prime, and still had a fully functional gallery.
Lego really has potential for amazing feats of engineering, macross will always be a pioneer that stir the imagination of transforming mechs, would be awesome to see a fully fonctioning valkyrie even if it's out of lego

Especially, the complex structure of the transformation. It is hard for me to assemble it and prepare record simultaneously. Anyway, I am very happy for your appreciation.

I was a little disappointed I had the wrong scale impression from the thumbnail. But nonetheless WOW this is impressive. I Iove the technique you showcased and used to get these small ridges to pop out of otherwise smooth surfaces of the build. Oh wow, the half extended grille 1x2 grill pieces on the back of bridge are also great. I guss if I had one nit pick, I don't particularly love stickers on my builds, but you definitely used them to great effect here. The fact it's also transforming is just mental. I'm not sure how much I love the original Macross' mecha mode, but wow is it cool and I just love the ordinary ship mode.

I admit, I just got this 7 year old video in my feed just today, but the fact that this is 7 years old, makes it 10x more impressive. None of the Mixle ball joints and versatile clips and bar pieces that are staples in Lego-transformer constructions today existed back in 2013, and yet, this Macross MOC looks much better than most Lego formers I've seen in recent times. Carefuldriverhingkon, don't know If you'll see this, but this is amzing Lego work.

Like others, i've never thought it was really a lego model, until i saw the so famous rounded plastic parts. Great job, amen for so much work. Must be quite heavy.

I know it will never happen because not enough fans would have the room or money to buy one but I wish someone would make an SDF-1 play set in the same scale as the old GI-Joe Aircraft Carrier. It would have to be about 4 times larger to accommodate the whole thing and obviously it would take up your entire living room, but how cool would it be to finally have a proper SDF-1 to use with everyone’s 1/55th scale Veritech Fighters? I’d love to see some ambitious person make all the parts on a 3D printer and make it a serious project. It wouldn’t have to be perfectly to scale but something about 20 feet long would probably do the job. It could be the sci-fi enthusiasts equivalent alternative to the massive basement train set table. 😁

This being done on Lego has more meaning if you know that Shoji Kawamori, the mech designer, test out the transformation sequence using Lego.
