I did 7 years in the army as a medic. Never felt so much fear and self doubt until I started roofing sales. Adam, you're the first person to show that a job doesn't have to be a job. Keep up the amazing work and genuine messeges!

@@ftb3817in that process right now. Reminding myself every rep is a rep gained experience/skill point makes every door a win regardless of outcome
Something that helps me while on the field knocking is knowing that there are millions of homes and millions of opportunities to make a sale. Who cares if I say the wrong thing to one home owner. Its practice for the next one. And when you find that yes, you now have a ratio. Mine is 5/10 roofs I get on I sign them. So I can sign 30 deals a month by getting on 60 roofs.

I believe the key is providing a service and not just selling a product. EVERY property owner will need the service of a roofer at some point in their journey. They need us and want us so the key is finding your customer at the time of their need!
Brand new to Door to Door roofing sales and I have been watching your videos constantly for encouragement! 2 weeks in and did about 100 doors today and got lots of No’s especially on doors where I got nervous. Thanks for all you do for the industry. Love all the content

I would not use the word "Pitch". I have replaced it with the word presentation. Just my preference.

My daughter just got out of the army n it’s her first job after release she’s doing pretty well. Trying to get me to try it. I’m afraid to get out of my every day job I’ve never been in sales I’m trying to learn from your motivation videos n it’s a scary thing your so right your helping me understand how to approach the customer

I'm new to roofing sales, but I was very successful selling solar panels. Process and product knowledge are very important. I'm learning that there's a lot that goes into roofing and I'm getting more confident in that cause of these videos. Keep going brother, thanks for the knowledge and encouragement.

The one thing I think you should add….would be to find someone you can emulate. A mentor who is successful and mimic what they do. Sit down with them and see how much information they will give you and help you. People are generally nice especially successful people and they want to help lift other people. You can do a whole video just on this!

I'm an office manager for a power washing company. My boss has decided to branch out to roofing and make me his salesperson. I know absolutely nothing about roofing nor am I great with sales. Hey. Struggling a bit. I am new to this and working a 9 month old storm. I'm digging for scraps at this point. I do have 3 signed contracts so far so not nothing. But its ruff going. Hoping for a new storm so I can really get going. So far I'm only setting appointments. Haven't been on enough hail damaged roofs to feel confident on identifying the damage yet.

I’m 32 and have been a medical secretary for almost 11 years. I was ready for a major change. Roofing sales never crossed my mind but here I am.. it’s my first week. I’m nervous and this is 110% out of my comfort zone. After listening to several of your videos… I know this was meant to happen! I’m excited for my future in this career. Thanks for the comment. I'm not quite following your question - can you help me understand it better? Because retail and restoration are completely different. Or do you mean WIHTOUT insurance as in -- not paying for insurance for your company?

@@businesstalktv7536 Ah gotchya. I work with retail and storm companies. My sales system is being used for both. My sales system and YT channel are focused on SALES. I'm not the guy to teach you how to start a business. But once you do - I will happily help you grow your sales team, train them, and get them generating leads and closing deals :)
