In the original song she says "born skinny bitch", but they aren't allowed to say it on Korean tv, awards, etc... And this track is a diss track to their haters, in this part, Lisa is adressing all the hate comments saying she's "anorexic and too skinny".
She said born skinny chick Im thin no matter how much I eat(like the rough translation) because people always body shame her so she’s bashing the haters.
so this is ta South Korean music program broadcast by SBS. It airs live every Sunday. The show features some of the latest and most popular artists who perform on stage. And through real time voting each week one group or idol will win a weekly award . And also the reason it sounds a bit empty is coz of the covid restrictions. usually there will be fans coming to watch their favourite idols to perform. these stages make a difference when there are fans actually watching and cheering. If Blink were there its would be insane and fun ofc.

This performance is for their comeback/album premotions. in Korea when groups release songs they perform them on music shows for publicity. you will often see groups on these shows. music shows are important in Korea especially music show wins they mean a lot to the artist.

in the lyrics of the song Lisa says "bitc*" but in this performance she has to change the swear word in "Chick" as Rosè and Jennie did by changing it to "savage"

Actually they are performing to an weekly award show. They have danced in many weekly award shows. Its like the korean citizens choose and vote the music of the week and there would be an show for it, aired every saturday or friday in South korea. This is a way to promote their songs and the comeback as a whole. ❤

Each South Korean TV station has its own music performance show and it is held every week. Whenever K-Pop artists come back with new albums, they choose to promote their new music through these music shows. These kind of shows have been around for Koreans more than 40 years and it is a part of K-pop tradition.

It's part of their promotion to the song, it's a weekly award show called 'SBS Inkigayo' and in fact there are other weekly award shows too which they attend like Music Bank etc.
They had to change some words in the song in this performance because the original lyric is not "appropriate" for the general S. Korean TV audience. Lisa didn't actually say "born skinny chick" in the original version.
so in korea, when a group or a singer debut or make comebacks, they promote them by going to different music programs, there are a lot of music programs from diff companies in korea but YG artists right now normally would just promote on SBS's Inkigayo (SBS logo you see on the right part of the screen on the performance you watched), and MBC Music Core. they do give awards there too if they top the weekly ranking. before with BigBang and 2NE1,they attend KBS' Music Bank and MNET's MCountdown. but generally, even before, YG's former CEO, YG himself said that rather than promoting them in all music shows, getting exhausted & all, they would prefer them to promote in certain music shows and provide quality stages, which you can also notice on live performances from Bigbang and 2NE1, winner and Ikon, and all other artists from YG.

Guys, let me explain about this performance. In kpop when a solo artist or group debut or make a comeback they're performe in special tv shows create for this, Inkigayo is one of a multiples in south korea. Those tv shows is kind like when american singers/groups go at jimmy fallon or james corden to promote the musics, but in south korea the tv shows are like separate, comedy, performances and interviews aren't common be together in the same show. The shows to korean singers and groups performe make something: compilations of impact about the song in various plataforms, pure and digital sales, text message and offer an "award" to the number 1. When you win 3 of them call a "Triple Crown" and the number of wins it's a metric to how popular song is. How You Like That for exemple, won 13.

In Korea there are different music shows and "inkigayo" is one of many music shows in Korea. Basically idols perform their new songs there and it is called "comeback stage" and continue promoting and performing it there in different music shows

I think SBS Inkigayo is a government own show. So any adult or inappropriate lyrics they have to change to PG 13. So there are some lyrics they have to change to be able to perform in the show.

In Korea there's music shows (6 actually) where the groups go to promote their new song or album (if they released a single they promote the single and if it is an album they promote the title track of the album and one b-side track). In this shows the fans vote for their favorites groups and give them a trophie. Blackpink this year won 22 trophies on these music shows. Pretty Savage is a diss track for the haters, Lisa said "Born skinny bitch" because the haters always say that she and Rosé are skinny and an0rexics, so Lisa in response said she born skinny and no matter how much she ate, she will be always thin. She changed "bitch" for "chick" because they can't curse in korean tv.
