@@RobertJustice93 I couldn’t figure out if it was Dr. Gackle or Connie Horton. I believe that’s normally Dr. Gackle’s choir but the conducting reminded me of Mrs Horton. Also wondered if it was Lynn Bull a few years ago. I never got a glimpse of the accompanist. It’s a tough piece and she nails it.
@@bryantrim6353 Idk who ur talking to, but if ur talking to me I'm doing region in about 3 weeks :sob: thanks for the goodluck again if u were talking to me! :D
The part where the sopranos get to day till I'm flying away is just ugh it's so beautiful and I love hearing it as an alto 2
I'm an alto 2 also
I’m a soprano and it’s so fun to sing as well
Fellow alto 2’s!! (Despite deciding to do Alto 1 for TMEA)
I love this song so happy they choose it for tmea 😭💙
Fellow TMEA auditionee 😊 Good luck this year!!!! We got this
@@vasupalt5669Yess!! Practice Hard Y'all 💪

I heard the alto 2 part of this song and just loved it so I had to listen to it with all the parts
It’s been a year since I sang this for Region concert, I kid you not, I cried, it was beautiful (but a computer sound disrupted the end 😭)
Tmea is gonna rock this year o my gooidnessd

@@deftli9ht310 you are my new favorite person
This song is so nice they chose it for my daughters choir performance
beautiful!! i’m a part of voce spiritus in oklahoma and we’re probably going to sing this!
Please post the Director in the Accompanist along with the performing group. Every component performed brilliantly in this version.
It was Dr. Lynne Gackle conducting, and my apologies I couldn't find the program online to know who the accompianist was. but good point! :(

The pianist is Chase Douthit - a wonderful pianist/organist. @@RobertJustice93
Bro I miss singing this for tmea!
So powerful
Such Beautiful Sound 💕🦋
Ate and left no crumbs
9 days till district auditions!
I want to sing this song but in tenor bass
This song makes me wanna cry
Not because it sounds sad, but because im a tenor and im jealous of the sopranos who can sing that high
I mean if ur falsetto is great u can maybe hit the notes. I was able to hit the soprano 2 notes for fun. Just lots of air loll.
@@slyjay2203my falsetto is not developed at all, Its like I dont have a falsetto
@@LooseBajayjay ohh damn. My bad.
Goodluck at pre-area auditions if you made it there for your region!!

How'd it go!?!
Most of us made it, but by a landslide
Wish there was a men’s variation of this song low key
That means the basses would have to sing high notes
Or… they could sing low notes…
@@braydenhebdon2165 well this song was meant for high notes
@@LooseBajayjay ok but like… sing it lower lol
@@LooseBajayjaysing it an octave lower
