Giuseppe Torelli ( 1658-1709) un altro genio italiano che ha regalato pagine di grande bellezza e originalità. Il primo a comporre un concerto per violino e orchestra. Ma come si sente magistrale con la tromba. La musica gli deve più di quanto per sciatta e ingrata ignoranza si soglia ricordare. Andrebbe eseguito molto più spesso. Grazie a lei maestro Torelli.
Torelli and the trumpet go together like strawberries and cream. He was the real pioneer of the baroque trumpet concerto. Beautifully played by soloist and orchestra!
We need more natural trumpets in this world
Sadly people dont use them more in orchestras for many reasons
@@yeah8598 Trumpets are becoming very scarce in the wild. People hunting them and forcing them into captivity have dwindled their numbers below a sustainable breeding population in their native habitats.

I am so blessed that a group of people like this exists. A group that maintains the voice of baroque music, but not just maintain but plays such with so much passion and skill.
I love the sensitive interplay and subtle line shaping and inflections carried through the ensemble. Rather than a “rote” performance often delivered on this piece, you’ve given us a musical experience representative of the entertainment value expected by the audience of Torelli’s day. Bravo to all, and especially to Dominic Fava, your gifted soloist!

Torelli é fantástico, poxa que performance inspiradora, que orquestra maravilhosa! Gosto muito do Opus 8 de Torelli, a obra prima.
