Ollie passed away quite young only a couple years old we are not sure what happened. My second one Joey has been with us for 9 years now and is luckily in good health and we hope to have him for a long time to come.

Yes, they very smart and feed off your emotions. We our clipped just for safety really, we also have 4 cats and a dog, so he is much safer being contained. If it was just him or maybe one cat, we would probably allow him to fly around as well.
VirginieBP Wing has been "clipped", the primary flight feathers have been cut off. Does not hurt the bird and these feathers do grow back. The bird cannot fly. Usually done for the bird's safety.
his main diet diet is the Zupreen Fruit Blend pellets next to smallest sized pieces they sale he also like Almond slivers and pistachio's unsalted of course and either snow peas or sweet peas either in or taken out of their pods. This actually my first bird my current bird has been on this diet for several years now and is doing well.
