So , let's just admit it, birds are a serious addiction. So I have lovebirds and truly, I want a Quaker. I actually also want a cockatoo and a Macaw and a Ringneck...Oh, is this not Birds Anon? Sorry, love this video!! You're not helping me over my addiction. Sooooooooooo cute!!!
It’s a healthy addiction. Our two Quakers are dear to the whole family. They’ve grown up with my kids. Now that my 4 kids are dispersed going to college or working nearby we have a custody agreement whereby they live with my twin boys, my daughter & her boyfriend, and us for given periods of time. The birdie dudes love it because the get excited to see everyone and remain well socialized. Growing up they would eat with us at the dinner table & play with everyone after dinner. They love peek a boo, toys, etc. Guava & Fatboy are as much a member of the family as any one of us. Can’t imagine life without ‘em. So, I would advise you take the plunge.
A Quaker is a good choice for a starter. You will want to educate yourself on the proper care and feeding of your chosen breed. My Quaker had a comedy routine where she would answer questions and make animal sounds, including a guinea pig squeal. And she did a devil bird dance, then laugh like a loon.
Awesome & very clear speech. My Quaker Rudy was a doll & passed away last summer. He also had clear speech. You have taught him well. I recently adopted a Indian Ringneck & she makes the syllable sound to mama, so I don't think she will talk but who knows she might bc I'm such a chatterbox! You have obviously spent a lot of time with him & mayb one day I will get another Quaker but it hurts yet.. Have fun & stay safel
My little quaker learned how to talk through your video, she says whats cha doing & im a eagle, just loves watching olie talk. Thank you for putting up a new video, i was playing it for her tonight & she was trying realy hard to say some new words.
I just love your little bird & all the animal sounds it makes, im trying to teach my blue quaker sounds as well. She is only 4 & she enjoys watching your little bird. I hope you can keep the videos comming.
Mine gives kisses and says hello. but nothing else yet. he is 3.5 months. I have read that it takes longer. 8-9 for first words. So I am a proud mama. 1-2 until they say other things. Just like kids...I will wait, every day is an adventure!
@@nicholesharp8650 Mine gives kisses and just started trying to talk about 3 days ago. He's 9 months. I've heard of Quakers that never speak, and I've heard that they start at about 5 months. I guess it's really just that each one starts when. It's ready to., IF it's going to! This one does absolutely great! Mine loves watching it!
We have a female, shes my second girlfriend. She doesn't talk quite as well as yours. She'll get in moods when her and I are alone, most of the time this the only time this happens, in which we just chat. I'm curious if males are more talkative, especially in terms of mimicking on request. This might be the most coherent i've seen.
by starting simple, like when you entering the room you say hello, when you leave you say goodbye, you do this as often as possible, with consistency and clear articulation, might take months, eventually the bird will pick it up. once it says hello and goodbye. You can start with simple phrases, beautiful bird, hi cutie and so on.
Paulie Soprano my Quaker does kisses sounds as he scrambles up my arm for kisses. Loves to pluck eyelashes with mascara clumps .. He thinks he's grooming me... Calls the dog, and does chicken impressions to confuse my 2 pet hens. When I'm out of sight he calls constantly so I roll his cage into the doorway and MUSt have a clear plastic shower curtain. He insists that my name is Taylor so I've just given up and answer to that. And he is the best security alarm I've ever had.. He screams like a huge hawk and then the dog is alerted and joins in.
You have a cute, adorable baby. Please do not cover his cage like that, birds need light and air and openness. No bird in the wild lives in a cave. Only the babies are kept out of sight because of predators. Take the cover off completely during the day😊
Mi pregunta es, el porqué venden las aves tan inhumanamente tan cara. Un ave no debe de costera más de cien dólares. Las comidas son inhumanamente costosas. Es un abuso comercial cual el gobierno debería mirar eso.
Such a clever bird...
Beautiful video of your bird..
My quakers love this video they scream to watch it .
I think Quackers are absolutley gorgeous birds.
He is absolutely precious! I adore quakers. They always look so fluffy and sweet.
Not sweet
@@marcofernandez8672 You aren't lying

Sponge bob whistle. )
That's the best speech I've ever heard from a Quaker. Great job, parrot mom.

Such a cute little ball of feathers. Wish I had one such creature.
Quaker is so beautiful and very clever too
He's so cute I love his rooster call
This sweet thing has the best diction of any quaker I have heard! It is so adorable. 😆
Omg! Are you sick…ahhhchooo. Unreal! How is this beautiful baby doing. I hope you are all safe and well.
Sooo cute awww😍😍😍😍💕 !
That bird is precious, what a fun little guy!
My little girl only talks when she wants the mommy in the room shes 4 yrs. Old & does say whats cha doing.
Great diction and clarity for a Quaker! Beautiful.
Best talking bird I have heard. I can understand every word and sound so clear. He’s part chicken.
OMGGGGG He is sooooooo cute! What a smart guy!
We had 2 adopted quakers, loved them. They are so lasted back, at least ours were. Thanks for posting. He's so cute❤
Лапушка-говорушечка!👍😘❤️❤️❤️
I just love the cute animal sounds your quaker makes, i play this video for my quaker everynight.
Thea is amazing 😉
I love my quaker, but wow they are viscous creatures
240 guy especially after puberty kicks in
if it is vicious it is bored. Quaker is a small bird, but should be treated as the bigger birds. As they get bored quite quick
Fluffy, adorable, pretty and precious this bid
So adorable and so smart😍❤
So cute & clever bird👏👍😊🌷
This bird is cute and funny too. Thanks for sharing.
So majestic and round
Beautiful darling bird.

Can someone explain why so many of these videos have music or tv blaring. Can hardly hear the bird. What I can hear is adorable.

Witam...Świetna treść i bardzo fascynująca....Miłego dnia życzę.🐦🐦
So CUTE! I love your quaker! ❤❤
You two have done a lot of work together.
Has no 1 noticed he's caged and how small it is 😢
Yes and it's so dark for him to see. Should be in a larger cage with more light!
It seems like his cage us small
C’mon, don’t you know that a rooster IS a chicken? 🤣
Would love to have one, but illegal in CT.

My bird keeps biting my screen😂

Wow. How old is your quaker? I wish we had birds like this in Norway. But they do not sell them in the pet shops :(
nettvenninnen try breeders in your area
Try a Facebook page of breeders, Quaker birds are fast learning, before 12months they can talk with plenty of teaching and attention
I have a green quaker
Hello can I take your order?
How old was he in this video???
awwwwwwwwwwwww!!
adorabile!
Subbed🙂🙂

This bird isn't quaking. Why aren't they quaking?
