He's so nice, he thanks everyone, isn't worried about looking stupid. It's so refreshing to see how genuine he is, for someone in his line of work.
That moment when he tells himself "Useeee the trackkkk Benedict" will never cease to be hilarious.
It's amazing that he talks about Daniel Brühl (who totally got scewed over at the Oscars for "Rush" this year, I think!). Benedict knows a good actor when he sees him. Brühl and Cumberbatch were amazing at "The fifth estate" as well. Two magnificent actors!

Benedict makes an interesting point: the one thing we DON'T see when Top Gear does the "Star in the Reasonably Priced Car" is the driver's point of view, down the track. The problem with adding that shot is less that it means adding another camera (a GoPro isn't THAT expensive!), but changing the editing format for "The Lap" that everyone by now is so used to.
Still, now and again, it would be fun to see the lap the way the driver sees it.

Listening to him talk in his regular accent vs listening to him speak with an American accent makes me feel so confused lmao
For the people who have been complaining about bad make up, I read that he has naturally patchy skin and had it looked into because it can be a sign of cancer in men but was told it was sun damage caused in South Africa. He said himself that he was worried people would think he had bad make up and as far as I know they don't use make up on the outside shots on Top Gear.

LAATE to the party but, I love how he's just like 'Sherlock's quite a good driver tho.' like he KNOWS it, like its a common known FACT, despite the fact that he's probably the only to have actually driven (unless the one in Elementary did, but I don't count that one) and only dove in like one episode. Shows how much he really gets into his character.
