In alot of states those "Ape Hangers are illegal if they are above the riders shoulders. Some of these bikes I wouldn't want to ride. They look clumsy, awkward to steer & stop

@@MOUNTAINLDC I had that discussion with my therapist/mechanic. He used the term “circus bike” too to describe such machines. Again, if it makes the owners happy that’s great… but it makes me chuckle when I see one on the road.
Some are show..there are a few clean rideable sleds in there...I had a '50 model 45 solo...that was 6 in from bttm frame to ground...had to cross some rr crossings at an angle to keep from hanging up
I started riding in 1965 and knees in the breeze is an awesome feeling. Have ridden many custom cycles and most are better as static displays. Ride like crap for the most part and handle even worse.

Some cool/innovative, some rehashed same old, I don't get the handgrips being either 4' apart, or 6" apart, not great for riding, still some cool work.

I saw a bunch of "who'd want that" OMG people in Japan do crazy stuff to motorcycle too....but that one looks useful If you want a cool looking bike without having to sell your house.......start with black M90 with red wheels, blackout all the chrome and turn the risers around so they go up instead of back.....oh and put seat cawl on back instead of pillion

Well, she doesn’t corner that great, but I can kinda hold her in a straight, but the front brake delete,,, shoulda thought that through. It actually has a torque link to this metal plate seat to amplify square edge potholes. Kind of unique but hey what the ####. Is she hard over? Aye Captain hard over. Then why isn’t she turning?
