I always say... not evil, but broken
So tru family is their strongest above all love helps but the weaker love fades they might also
Klaus wasn't evil or a psychopath he was just broken for a thousand years Klaus was broken not like he could not be fixed but just missing so pieces for example
Hayley- to make him fight for what he wanted/needed even when he wanted to give in to the darkness
Hope- to give him something to fight for something to love unconditionally and to love him
And last but not least
Time- this was the final piece to the puzzle of klaus's redemption but ironically the one thing he did not have he needed time with his family but he died before he got his happy ending rest in peace
And as we originals lovers love to say

I love the fact that Klaus is a character that has pretty decent number of fanboys along with fan-girls, while most of the TV show characters(except for Comic book characters ) usually have huge number of fan-girls and far too less fanboys.
Because Klaus is the perfect example of a damaged teenage boy or adult man , he was ignored , abused, felt unloved cause he didn't understand, had a temper but gets scolded for it and it literally uncontrollable, he was a hybrid before any magic , mixture of empathetic artistic , strong brave warrior capable of gentle love, loved nature and life. Then in a parents attempt to protect there kids or there dirty secrets. He was denied time spent from the one person who meant him HONEST love. He was turned into something that heightened all the emotions and anger he had to hold in and now he's tempted and literally has to survive by doing evil things because the world he has to survive in as an adult is literally set up to devour him. But we are survivors and we will do whatever we have to to remain here. Because we fear death and anything associated with weakness to a point it cripples us..

I liked that you showed him from different sides. And I enjoyed that it isn't just another 'music video' but that you used dialogues, plus good music choices - and the way you edited fight's scenes - really cool. And the ending ha ha didn't expect that :) Great job.

He is my favorite! I loved him always and I will always and forever.. I nvr really found him evil. Just highly broken. So much he can not trust anyone. Micheal damaged him beyond repair. No one can do anything. He is alone. And nobody notices.. and this video just proved my thinking all the more. Thank you.
Klaus was stronger but the mom dampened his abilities.
I like that you left Hope for last, becouse I think that she completly change Klaus, his daugther was the begining of him turning around his life.

I always wonder why was Klaus always mistreated and then blamed for returning the favor. It was so unfair every character seemed to forget their own mistreatment of him but constantly complained for the one/two times Klaus had acted the same way as towards them as they did toward him. for example Davina she repeatedly plotted against him through out the series and created problems for him because he did one wrong thing to her. And before anyone speaks for Davina remember that she was trying to find ways to kill an Original before she even before knew who Klaus was. The hatred she had for him in the beginning was dictated by Marcel, she made the first move on Klaus so what she got was her own fault or more precisely Marcel's.
For a thousand years no supernatural community had a real reason to hated him other than him being a hybrid they all called him a abomination to begin with without knowing him for himself (season 5 vampire purists killed villages full of wolves in the flashback that made Klaus retaliate), Witches throughout history hated him because of Ester's influence from the other side, wolves also hated him because he was a hybrid. I mean just see the pattern; it was a kind of racism against him for a thousand years. (People don't come out for such an unfair treatment whole, they break, they get corrupted, the develop a defense mechanism that usually compromises of a mix of detachment, cruelty and closeness of emotions)
He was abused(about physically and mentally ) without reason by his stepfather who in Klaus's mortal life didn't even know that Klaus was not his and still was a so brutal towards him.
I wonder why people don't see that underlying very fundamental human problem had shaped Klaus as character, and he was constantly dealing with those problems for a thousand years like his hybrid nature parallels the problems of identity faced by people of mixed races, every supernatural community hating him throughout history parallels minorities, mix-race people and immigrants and well we all know how abuse shapes a person.
All that said Klaus made sure his Daughter who was as different as he was did not have to go through what he went through.

U know what surprised me about the roomful of Elijah's aka the Strix and the Trinity aka Tristan, Aurora and Lucien. None of them thought to get at Hayley aside from Jackson was to hurt Hope, to hurt Klaus aside from his siblings, Caroline it Camille, well Hope was his greatest weakness. None of them hurt Hope, that disappointed me and they harmed their love interests instead. Hayley had Jackson. Klaus had Cami. Elijah had Hayley. Freya had Finn (and Kol) the former had her. Kol had Davina. Davina had Kol and Marcel, yet, he had Rebekah, she had him. Mikael had Esther, she would've had Ansel, he had Klaus. Yet when it came to Hope, she had everyone before Landon. Josh had Aidan, but ofc Josh had Davina as well. Vincent had Eva. Tbh, Tristan-Aurora&Lucien deserved their ending. Aurora was left in the Abbator's basement. Lucien got what he deserved after what he did to Finn and Camille. Yet, Tristan remains neutralized by Hayley who locked him in that storage container and drowned. Sad but had to be done he was dangerously low, compared to how crazy Aurora became bc he was so controlling situations especially with Lucien we are to believe he was innocent, foolish and dull but never did I think he was the main villain behind the Martell siblings.

i know mikael was a viking jerk, but whether he forgot that klaus set him up for killing esther, when he did each other a favor, as ansel did nothing to protect klaus growing up bc she feared mikael would know the truth, and when he did and saw klaus kill that human in front of elijah and saw his eyes. first thing mikael did was kill ansel and half of his pack. funny how mikael never realize he was more of a father to klaus, than ansel was a coward for nothing protecting his son with esther, she said klaus would be killed by mikael, and in the end for a thousand years, mikael only hunted him bc klaus told his halfsiblings it was mikael who killed esther, not klaus. yet in his weakness and affection for aurora, he told her that secret. and she never told a soul. not even to tristan or lucien. elijah compelled the trinity to be the royal three originals, bc finnkol were always in their coffins and in the end. klaus always got the final say, it still bugs me as to how and when after katherine escaped klaus, then met stefan in the 20s, only to dagger rebekah what was elijah doing? looking for katherine still? for 500yrs? dude, then was confused me was from how klaus walked out of the closet before he stopped been ricklaus, when klaus possess alaric in tvds2B. also its even more strange how like we never saw finn turn vampire fangs and all, also we never once saw klaus' wolf form either, only his hybrid eyes in tvds2finale. hope mikaelson deserved klayley in her life, not to be an orphan estranged/distant from her aunts freya, keelin, rebekah and davina, even her uncle kol and adoptive brother/uncle marcel. ofc freelin's baby daddy vincent. as long as roman dont come back to rival handon or hopfael. i dont want hopeman to make a comeback. altho i feel like landon's mother might b legacies's s1villain
