You are absolutely correct. Klaus is complicated. I don't think it is fair to say he is bad. He has his solid valid reasons to be him. I love his character so much. The other fact which makes him more interesting is his sharp mind. And there is a lovely, romantic Klaus also in him. Thank you for this. I really enjoyed it.

I loved how this video showed all of Klaus. Not the bad or good things about him but both.
I was thinking about it just the other day how Klaus was different but physically and psychologically . Even before he was an original Vampire he was strong(only he was weakened by magic of his mother pendant ) and than when he became original he became stronger yet. But this not as interesting as how different he was psychologically before he was an Original his emotions where heightened due to his werewolf nature he felt every thing more acutely than any of his family member and then when he became an Original his heightened emotions were literately heightened 2 folds of just an Original. Add it to the amount of abuse and hatred he endured from Mikael he truly was complicated and different from anyone around him. He is the most unique character in all of Vampire/werewolf/witches/etc universe.
Julie Plec and her really made an exceptional character and Joseph Morgan portrayal of Klaus is just epic. No one can beat the beauty, complexity and psychology of this character.
The only person I relate to is this man. Period his life was my life and is my life right now to an extent

He proved nothing can kill him unless he desires death, such a powerful demonstration of fierce fighter and a lover, a family man who knows how to save himself and the family no matter any circumstances. Most interesting thing is nobody knows him and ultimately he is the saviour

@@kenechuwu7599 This comment is a bit older, so I can't be 100% sure what I was thinking, but I'm pretty sure I never actually cared about Camille as a character.
My point was more that this marked the point where the show decided killing characters is the only relevant way to create drama, so they started introducing characters, just so they could kill them without taking the time to flesh them out, then replace them with a new character that was basically the exact same, and repeat in the most formulaic way possible.
And somehow we were still expected to care who lives or dies.
