2years later and this still slaps hard, who else is here in 2024
I didn’t know when I started crying... I wish I was born into a family that practiced genuine love and respect.. my people only know how to instill doubt into me and project so much insecurity .. it’s really hard fighting life alone and just learning how to figure life all by myself! I’m a strong lady but I just can’t help breaking down sometimes.. I just wish I had a place I can find genuine peace , I wish I had a home! Sigh..this video really brought back the spark and I’ll be back to my normal self tomorrow morning. Thank you Vusi 🥺! I’m grateful for you 🙏🏾

Self doubt is the root of a lot of my problems. I am a first year student in a highly competitive degree and school. Being surrounded by the most intelligent people has made me anxious , made me question whether or not I am even capable of achieving this degree. This video came at right time. I find it very disturbing that such an intelligent guy could believe in Jesus Christ, the myth. The man who has never existed but created by the Roman's to manipulate, control and to enslave the stupid. Jesus Christ is just the disillusionment, in other words believing in Jesus the Asshole is utter nonsense. He should stick to entrepreneurship without indoctrinating or coercing us into believing in his religious beliefs. I mean you don't need the so called God or Jesus to succeed.

It's my 1st time to listen to Him him and I believe my God leaded me to this speech, I needed to hear everything he said. As a woman who has just started pastoring, I have always thought am not good enough to do it, now I know that I must shift my focus, and put more effort on developing my skills. Take for instance the founders of the computer that you're are all atheists and they're all extremely successful. Many well known engineers, medical doctors and scientists are atheists. The so called God and his/her/its son of a bitch Jesus Christ have done nothing for us Africans and as long as we still believe in this nonsense we'll never go anywhere. Religion as whole is a stumbling factor for a black child period.
It's so unreal how I ended up watching this out of nowhere, I woke up from a dream where I was asking God to give me answer as to what to do next. I remember listening to this on my way home from night duty a few hours after it was posted. Today I came back here because this week I have an all important meeting which I know is going to positively change the trajectory of my career. I came back here because I have been doubting myself. I have been thinking, I don't deserve to sit in that room. However I will remind myself that on that day, everyone starts at zero, I just have to make sure that I am the most prepared person in the room.

Thank you for this from Botswana its been a tough time for me as a young person since graduation varsity last year been trying to apply for jobs with no luck a guy who is looked down in an interview cos i had no viable experience against the people i applied with i have also tried my hand in starting my business but i met problems after problems and I'm still looking for one thing today just to start small even though i was told just give up by my family by strangers who when i asked permission to rent out space from them shut door in my face but I gotta keep going cos I can't quit.

Well I don't know why I bumped on this 3 am. I grew up feeling like am not good enough something that has affected alot. Interesting when I'm pushed to do something I end up doing it better than I thought.
Lesson to self: everyone starts from zero
Focus on what you can fix and good at .

I am 55 years of age, voted most likely to succeed at school, have 3 degrees and started quite a few businesses - some wins, some blow-outs, and many times just wanted to crawl into a hole and give up! Great to hear your story, and realise that even moguls like yourself have self-doubt sometimes. South African youth need more people like you giving entrepreneurship advice - that is how we are going to make them successful - by showing them our mistakes so that they can perhaps avoid some of our pitfalls !

What i have realized in life is that your story is not a story if there's no success story. People will de-value your journey if there's no Wins. But it can only be a story if there's a combination of wins and losses. Even if there's only losses, that is value for the next person who is going through the same path and wants to figure out how to win.
I always say this "if you've never tripped, then you are not human". We all stumble at some point, it's never easy to get back up but we carry the power to choose to stay in the fall or get back up.

I've have been in a Rut In my Job application Process and I have been struggling with a feeling of imposter syndrome and I have been ignoring and disqualifying myself from applying to Certain opportunities that I know deep down I am more than competent enough to take Up. Very often as a child of God, I feel like I don’t fit in, I’m not good enuff & being ‘old school’ my values are not appreciated, fought against & someone somewhere is always using me as their scapegoat to cover up their failures or mistakes and then I am left to clean up the mess & do the right thing. I’m a loner & work better on my own so when working in a department with other ppl, I expect them to do what is right, be honest and put the integrity of the place we work for 1st like I would do..this does not always happen & it frustrates me because when something goes wrong, we ALL get put into the same basket & judged. I often forget that because I am God’s child, HE will fight for me, vindicate me & his glory will be seen in & through me. I have lost my ability to believe in my God given talents that make me stand out for Christ in an environment where ppl are self absorbed & only care abt what they can gain by using others as a stepping stone for their self gain instead of being an instrument/vessel for God to use for His glory & not my own🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Self doubt has been killing me inside, even communicating with my own family I felt i I don't match them to even speak among, and even my friends, even my colleagues at work, even my clients that I plan to meet, Thanks Vusi, I need to do everything to ensure I am the most prepared and focus on myself.

She doesn’t have to stay if she doesn’t believe in you and if she believed you are reckless in your decision making which will ultimately affect her too in the long run. You are free however to make a decision that suits you best.

True, we all at zero. When I am in the ED and I would observe all the health professionals( Drs, RN, and AN) it does not matter where they graduated, as soon as there is an emergency I could tell we all start at Zero. What matters is how prepared we are to save a live.
