Scarcity mindset that pursues us as a result of wrong environments we choose to live in has pursued and afflicted me most of my life, to the extend of not realizing how blessed I am among my peers, and thereby not living/enjoying the abundance of my blessing to full capacity. Just one example - I never really realized that I can fly from Nairobi to any destination until recently (yes, I had money but still thought it won't happen), because I surrounded myself with people who ply the road - public transport and private cars during vacation to rural homes or funerals (carrying more people to attend village funerals). Oh the joy and peace in discovering where God had placed me many years ago. Blessings that are so visible even right here (my channel has more than 400K subs) but I didn't know my position, and never got to enjoy that privileged position. I'm so glad I now know! This video speaks to me! Vusi, you're an inspiration to me, bro. I'm so proud of you, so proud of my African brothers who don't shy away from being/living who they are, and unashamedly so. I came to know Christ in jail in 2013 by reading a book, "Overcoming spiritual blindness" by James P. Gills MD. The veil was taken off my eyes. Heaven came through for me in my finances too, getting $25,000 monthly. I can support God's work and give back to my community. God is absolutely more than enough!
I walked away from God when I was younger for many years. I became deceived and lived a sinful life, but God has been faithful and called me back and opened my eyes to my ways. Now I see clearly the times are near and short is the day to prepare. May God open the eyes of everyone He calls His elect and may we serve Him in obedience and with a humble spirit of love and grace to the world that is lost. I have been watching your videos for a few years now, here and on other social media channels. I love the topics, mindset, and worldview that you have grown into. The only small adjustment I want to share with you, in order to nail the point, is that the growth mindset and the scarcity mindset start from the government and media. In the US and other Western countries, they teach and emphasize growth in good schools, and the media praises growth. In other places, this is a different story.
I live in Nigeria, a country that can't guarantee basics like 4hours of Power daily and I m trying to compete in the global market. I feel encourage by this, I refuse to see scarcity, I choose the pathway of growth! Thank you Vusi!

This video just made me tear up because it spoke to me in a way that I was finding it hard to articulate. The part about having a growth mindset in a scarcity environment and how it limits you hit home hard! It's important to have a growth mindset but what's more important is to have a growth mindset in an environment that is enabling of abundance. The environment you are in either frames you or you frame it.
Hi Vusi, I never leave comments on videos but your words really spoke to me! It is not easy being exposted to ideas, speeches and success of people in environement of abundance (namely Americans) while living in a country whath that is simply not possible; where wealthiest people don’t have a 10th, perhaps not the 100th of what they have. There thought are often on my mind but never heard anybody to speak about this hypothesis on the internet. Thanks. And I would like to add I’m not from Afrika, I have never been there and unfortunatelly do not know much about the environment in Africa.

It's funny how I came to this realization few weeks ago as I was having lunch with work colleagues and Vusi uploaded a video speaking exactly how I feel in my country (Angola), I feel alienated because most people can't even copy what successful people do like punctuality, learn constantly, network and share ideias.

This video just made me tear up because it spoke to me in a way that I was finding it hard to articulate. The part about having a growth mindset in a scarcity environment and how it limits you hit home hard! It's important to have a growth mindset but what's more important is to have a growth mindset in an environment that is enabling of abundance. The environment you are in either frames you or you frame it.

It is not easy being exposted to ideas, speeches and success of people in environement of abundance (namely Americans) while living in a country whath that is simply not possible; where wealthiest people don’t have a 10th, perhaps not the 100th of what they have.
There thought are often on my mind but never heard anybody to speak about this hypothesis on the internet.

I just want tlo say that working in yourself is the most amazing thing ever, I know my future is taken care of because I do the compound little things to put me at ease... the laws of the universe work
