Thanks for the great insight. I mostly use pendulum serve and I find it quite difficult to loop when my opponent pushes long. Now I know why, thanks alot!

I see that sometimes you cross your legs when doing loopkill. It can be hard to change position quick if partner will make wide and fast block.

Test. Where do you think you have most power and control

Sam Higgan So many different variables make it difficult, That’s why I ask opinions of those successful. Also, covid has made it hard to find people to play with. I live in md if your looking to play or anyone! I’m learning but can return a ball or two 😉. I find it difficult while playing to also evaluate what position my best strokes are coming from, I’m trying tho.

@@frankaylwardjr4986 When I hit a power backhand, I am usually in a squatted position. The power comes from moving up and swinging the arm like a whip. Since I am a lefty, I move my left shoulder down, forward, and to the right(basically dropping my arm). When the ball is approaching, start to stand up while swinging the arm from bottom right to top left. Order of arm movement is elbow -> forearm -> wrist (hitting like a whip and the hardest part). Paddle angle is 45 to 60 degrees depending on spin. If I really want power, I will turn a bit more and take a step forward to get a bigger swing. Make sure to be relaxed and only grip a bit tighter when contacting the ball. Also control the swing to not swing too far for recovery. th-cam.com/video/H5R5pTN8Esg/w-d-xo.html Watch this video for a demonstration and tutorial.
