Thank you very much for posting this video. The audio was poor, but the step-by-step video instruction was very clear. It made replacing my clockspring an easy job. I was also working on a 2012 Hyundai Sonata, so it was exactly the same procedure. I got the clockspring off Amazon for only US$19.

Just take it to the dealer. It's a recall issue so it'll be fixed for free. Having the same problem, getting mine fixed early in the morning with no money being spent out of my pockets 😁👌🏾

Mine is having the same issue with the horn, but the dealer keeps saying is not a recall issue. How did you know it was a recall?

First of all check your car by scanning tool.

If you have Hyundai or Kia. It’s mostly problem with clock spring. And check the other all button on steering that working or not. If the other button not working. That’s means clock spring is crack. And if you have American model of car. After change the clock spring. Must you need a scanning tool for erase the code.

To open the steering bolt. whats the size of the bolt.. what is the tool size to open
