You say that but on the other side of the coin you treat this like every summertime flick where the hot girl on the beach gets all the attention and it's seen as though that's always a good thing when it's not. Especially nowadays where it feels like people are so much more parasocial than before. As they say, reality is often times unrealistic (but at that point I question what's defined as "realistic").
