The Snapa® Top Wall Flashing creates a better, easier and neater way to flash off the back of your polycarbonate roof. Designed to remove the unsightly look of flashing tape or lead, the Top Wall Flashing is colour matched to the Snapa Glazing bars to create a neat finish. No reason to dampen your roofs look with
Manufactured from aluminium this polycarbonate roof flashing has an excellent life expectancy that will provide a long-lasting waterproof finish. What’s more, the Top wall flashing works comes with two fixing angle options ensuring that it works with a wide range of different roof pitches.
A roof to wall flashing can be hard to perfect and properly waterproof with flashing tape so the top wall flashing offers a stronger and more watertight flashing solution.

Thanks. Im considering your Stormproof PVC or your Polycarbonates to replace my car port roof. Whilst the theory looks easy, daft question, but with a 3m slope run, after fitting the sheets, how do you access the top wall to then fit the flashing, given you can't walk on them? Any pointers appreciated. Thank you

Great question, the most common way of installing the Top Wall Flashing is by using a crawling board rested across the roof, to spread the load. This works best on a polycarbonate roof where the crawling boards would sit on top of the glazing bars. For Corrugated sheets, it is best to install the roof flashing as you go along. As each sheet is overlapped secure the Top Wall Flashing up to that point.
Always remember to take the necessary precautions when working at heights. Hope that helps?

Thanks very much for response, I wasn’t aware they were weight bearing as you describe. Just bought Corramet for my shed roof. Look forward to seeing it fitted 👍. Thanks

Thanks, you can either use our Securbond Flashing Tape or Securbond Silicone Sealant to complete the final step of sealing of the Top Wall Flashing. For this video we choose to go down the polycarbonate sealant route, however, our Video Team may run a future video on the flashing tape alternative option.
