Nice video! I think these would be some cool (no pun intended ) tips for people without AC! I'll keep these in mind If I eventually have no AC someday lol-
My hammy passed away about 2 months ago but I still watch you to get tips for when I adopt another hamster in the near future. I really found this helpful and I will be sure to use these tips. Thank you so much!
@@TianiSimoneX aww thank you! I am 10 years old and losing him was maybe one of my hardest things I have had to overcome. I'm really happy to see Yue and Albus happy and healthy though.
Yeah it’s always difficult when they leave us. I always try and find comfort in knowing I have given them the best lives and although it may of not been the longest time to us to them it was there entire lives and they’ve lived happy ones 💜
Great video! I use 4/5 of the tips you mentioned in this video. I think coco fibre soil is very good at keeping hamsters cool as well, I’ve seen Jet sleeping in it a lot when it’s been too hot for him to be in his paper bedding! :)
Great video! I have seen that snowy has been LOVING the coco fibre since I added it a few weeks ago, I had yet changed it to a larger baking dish since the jar was not what I wanted, it is a similar size to her sand bath which is quite large, but is also metal which retracts heat , so I have seen snowy digging to the bottom of it to feel the cool metal on her skin xx 💛✨😊
Hi! I am so so sorry I am SO LATE! I’m on holiday so I can’t really access TH-cam at all times! Especially since we ate out last night! I was actually searching tips 2 days ago for summer and it’s so coincidental you posted! This will really help snowy, since my pet sitter has said snowy had started to sleep next to her wheel since it is quite warm at home, so I gave her some tips and snowy is getting better! Xx
@@TianiSimoneX thank you! Yes I am enjoying it, I’m actually leaving tomorrow morning hahah! We have been here for 2 weeks, which has been amazing! Hope you are doing well! Xx
I quick tip for anyone! Go to any local charity stores to look for any ceramic hides for hamsters! I went to one near my local town with my mum for clothes, I came out with a very large, 3 entry ceramic hide in a natural colour for £3! (It was also branded trixie at the bottom!). When I got home, I searched up on trixie for the hide and believe it or not, the hide was originally £8.99, so I had saved almost £6! Which is amazing! You can also use any mugs, coasters, or really anything! Hope this helps 🥰💛🎉
My hamster is in my room which is upstairs. I have a slanted roof and it gets really hot in the summer. We have an air conditioner but I don’t think we would be able to run it all day. Should I move him downstairs during the summer? Or should I keep him upstairs with the ac on all day? (I know it’s winter but I want to be prepared 😂)
Thank you for these great tips ! I have been so worried about my Coco getting too hot . I have air conditioning but when its humid it can still get hot in here . Like this week . I cranked up the air for a bit now . It is not located near Coco. I use fans too .
Hi I hope u can help me I stay is south Africa and today was 33'c my hamsters are very unhappy and I have put ice packs and ice in they water and my windows are open but they are still hot

Nice hack! I well definitely try this out if I can convince my mom to take me to a thrift store.
@@Emma-fz5cd that will be great! You never know what you can find! You can use anything, like mugs, pots or anything u can craft :)
