Hi mate. With the combination of AR2 as a ceiling paint and this roller it's a perfect combo as with the double arm frame gives an even finish especially withe the wooster cirrus X sleeve. I found this all works perfectly for me. Regards Daniel
Hi mate Yes you can on first cost then cut in either once or twice if it doesn't cover then final roll. Anti Reflex 2 by Tikkurila is thr best ceiling paint you can get. Cheers Dan
i use the wooster quick release (long pole and a short pole) saves so much time instead of using threads. they do an angle clamp as well so you can pretty much walk round a room and do the ceiling edge with a 4inch roller clamped onto a pole without getting on steps. the end of the roller gives you just enough paint on the top of the wall so you can cut the walls in as its dry by the time youve run a big roller over the ceiling. wooster is top kit. i got the 19 inch frame and kettle as well but dont use it that often cos its expensive so i have to clean it properly every time lol.
Hi Dan, I was getting so stressed out working in rooms this size with a roller I bought a Graco ultra handheld. It's been a God send buddy. Especially if there's coving. Mines already paid for itself over and over. Maintenance is the key fort it to last👍🏻
@@danielnugentpainteranddeco557 I've got a Graco gx21 as well. I use that once a month tbh. I'll only get it out mist coating or more than 3 ceilings. If under that I'll get the ultra out. Ceilings were starting to hurt my neck rolling, now I'm fine after the sprayer.
Hi mate ,been using that roller frame now for nearly 10 years. Just a word of warning, the frame does creep causing the roller sleeve comes of. You need to tighten the nut up
Great video and great information
@@wemcal bless you thankyou so much
Hi mate does the ends of the frame cause grey to come from the ends due to friction after extensive use

Got a big ceiling to do, but after your recommendations I'm prepped with a 14” wooster roller and Sherlock 🙂 would you cut or roll the ceiling first?

Aye the Wooster gear is great Daniel. That sleeve leaving a nice smooth finish you reckon ?
Woostet and Arroworthy all the way mate 💯 percent great sleeves
Have you tried the Hamilton Perfection roller mate? Is the short pile good for smooth plastered walls compared to medium pile?
Yes I use to use the 9 inch ones. Very good rollers but now I use the microfiber rollers. Cheers Dan
Hi Daniel can I ask what your favourite frame is for 12 inch roller. I was looking at wooster little ben but their discontinued 🙄
Hi mate. I got the Wooster Hulk as its adjustable from 12 inch to 18 inch. It's great with the Wooster Sherlock pole as it's quick release
@@danielnugent2168 cheers Daniel
Do you know if these sleeves will work on a purdy roller bracket?
Hi mate.
Thanks.for.your question but I'm unsure.
You can always purchase one and if not send it back.
I got mine from MyPaintbrush online.
Cheers Dan

Wooster all the way mate. The Americans are so far advanced than us. Cheers Dan
Good job again mate. The AR2 still better then the Tekhnos ceiling paint?

I have thought about spraying. My mate sprays all his ceilings and says its a proper game changer

Why do you get stressed
Nice video.. Hamilton perfection do a medium sleeve we find very good. We use mostly the 15 "..comes in 4 and 9 also. Must try the AR2 for ceilings ..
