I was just thinking about changing my route towards the city from the SW Burbs to I-55 as it is probably safer than I-80 E to I-94 W. Ain’t that some S**T! Sick of this nonsense.
Its definitely safer than I-290 (Eisenhower Expressway) which has the most of all expressway shootings in the Chicago area.
Nate really needs to be checked for asthma.

I hate to say this but then again I don’t because I did something about it. I left. Lived there for short while and never fully liked it while there because of this stuff right here. I never felt comfortable there and this is the main reason why. I-55 is right near where I lived but near the lake. Doesn’t matter though because people still get shot while driving that stretch of it too. It’s a beautiful city, visually but that’s it. They just have too many serious problems that overshadow the true potential of that city. It’s sickening and anytime you say something, everybody’s always jumping into the defense of Chicago and it’s bad actors instead of taking action towards fixing the problems when everyone else can clearly see what’s wrong. It’s like shooting is the only thing they know how to do for resolve and they’re not even good at it. That’s why so many innocent people get shot when doing things like taking their children to school in the morning. Look up shootings on the Dan Ryan. Extremely Pathetic and please don’t come saying this happens everywhere. It is not happening like it is in Chicago. They have a different set of problems and if you’ve never lived there then you really do not know.
