Rheinberger's organ sonatas deserve far more attention than they're given in the organ repertoire. Frederick Swann's performance of #VIII certainly substantiates my point. Of course, few can play like Fred Swann, but we can aspire....

Wow that's the first time I've seen three organs in one cathedral that's pretty amazing I'm guessing the one ahead of the two organs in the back is the main one wow the pipe organ is probably the most and complicated instrument in the world it's the king of all instruments of course. 🙏⚜️❤️

aaronbright I think the rocker tab one on the left was the Original, they the draw knob light wood Organ was the 2nd built, then the one down stairs was the result of the 2nd one being remodel. I could be totally wrong and someone who has been there will correct me, if my reading and study is wrong.

I'm confused is there really (3) huge Pipe Organs in the church? I see 3 console, what is the real story?

In that picture - there were 3 different consoles for that 1 organ?? The one at the left looks like the older one from the first chapel they held services in before the Crystal Cathedral was built.

The console on the left was from the 1976 Ruffatti Organ at the Garden Grove Community Church (Crystal Cathedral) which was later used as the gallery console. Next to the 1976 console is the 1990 Moller console made to replace the 1976 console. The Moller console controls the Chancel Great, Swell, Choir, Solo, Positiv, and Pedal and of course the Trompetira/Gallery Organ.
