I been watching these things since you had a few hundred subscribers. You stepped up with the quality but what I appreciated since the beginning is the truth telling. I moved to the East Coast (not East Coast of the city but the real one) almost 15 years ago. The confusion that these brothers had about gang history and culture created a whole different wave than the one I was used to. Watched these brothers jump black men in prison with hispanics because they said they were all "under the 5". I just stopped explaining after having so many issues. The clarity with which you cut through the bullshit by bringing voices of the real OG's to light is becoming the single most significant contribution to the narrative history of LA street culture. Beyond that it gives the world what I got when I first hit CDC, OG's dropping jewels telling you ain't shit cool about spending your life destroying your community. I really appreciate you and what you've done for the culture moving forward. Some people will watch these videos and use the info to gain more power in their circle but the real ones will take the jewels and pass them onto to the youngsters with a call to improve themselves and their hoods. I been watching these things since you had a few hundred subscribers. You stepped up with the quality but what I appreciated since the beginning is the truth telling. I moved to the East Coast (not East Coast of the city but the real one) almost 15 years ago. The confusion that these brothers had about gang history and culture created a whole different wave than the one I was used to. Watched these brothers jump black men in prison with hispanics because they said they were all "under the 5". I just stopped explaining after having so many issues. The clarity with which you cut through the bullshit by bringing voices of the real OG's to light is becoming the single most significant contribution to the narrative history of LA street culture. Beyond that it gives the world what I got when I first hit CDC, OG's dropping jewels telling you ain't shit cool about spending your life destroying your community. I really appreciate you and what you've done for the culture moving forward. Some people will watch these videos and use the info to gain more power in their circle but the real ones will take the jewels and pass them onto to the youngsters with a call to improve themselves and their hoods.
