Cheers mate and yep, it is steep and yep, they should have used a straw. I saw the ladies when I got back to the car park and they feigned ignorance in my stunt crash 😃
Perhaps those women were like Sirens. I never saw them but heard their captivating cackles moments before you were dashed onto the trees. Standards always high quality mate!
I think aliens would be the best option for sure, I’m sure they have some sort of alien technology that could repair both you and your bike in a heartbeat. The wolves would just be a slow painful death. Another epic ride man
Thanks mate and yeah, it's pretty damned good there. It was actually riding far better last time with a bit of moisture in the ground; it was maybe a bit too loose on this day 👍
Oswestry another one on my massive list of where I want to ride but after watching that I don’t think I want to get my head stuck in a tree 😂😂 love the running commentary on your vids 👌👍
Thanks mate. Oswestry definitely has testing trails but not all of them are silly; the singletrack one along the top (skills area discussion one) is nice and flowing with interesting bits and the dog poo trail has a straight line option at the bottom which misses out the steep log drop bit. It’s well worth a visit and explore 👍
Cheers mate. I guess I ride ok but it’s all relative really. I can’t jump to save my life, crash on a regular basis and know a lot of people who make me feel like I am stood still. I just love riding, and love testing myself down silly stuff that’s probably not wise for someone fast approaching fifty 😂
Loved this video mate, the first trip still fresh in my head, it reminds me of what a great day we had there, glad you survived the crash and the embarrassment of those women not seeing it 😂, hilarious dog poo story too 😂👍
Feel your pain with dig shit🙄I have the same problems when I take my two out riding. We need to have a collection tin to get you a dropper post as well! Great video! 👌
It's a constant battle mate, although less so than when we went into lockdown back in March and people seemed to give up bagging it. I do have a dropper post for the Orange (a Reverb) but the circlip snapped. Got a full service kit for it but I don't have a vice to allow me to fix it, and I can't get it booked in for a service anywhere for love nor money. It's a pain doing it manually but not the end of the world 👍
This was hilarious getting your head stuck in a tree....not seen that afore your vids Inspired us DR Ploppers mtb to get out there and have a crack at it...keep it up my good man
Thanks mate. I did see the funny side once I'd taken a photo of my nose and worked out that it wasn't broken 😂. Really chuffed that my videos inspire you to get out and ride, that means a lot 👍
Nice one mate, if you come back the trail 8.12ish goes right. It’s down an undulating logging path, which is pretty good, but pieces into 3 different runs at the bottom. It’s ‘where’s Oli?’ On Strava
Thanks Adrian. I really need to get back and explore more around there. My exploring in this day didn’t go too well so I went for what I knew from the previous visit. I keep looking over at the woods at Cefn Coch; anything in there?
@@Stopadoodledoo no idea to be fair. The Cruddy’s well worth a visit. Look about a mile and a half north along Spring Hill farm road. You’ll see loads of DH trails. 2/3 min trails with a fire road back up.
Mate, in stitches through out that! Use a straw 🤣 looks bloody steep there for sure, glad your lady friends never saw you crash you charmer 🤣🤣

@@Stopadoodledoo 🤣 how rude of them!

They were baying for blood and they got it 😂. Cheers as always mate 👍
Great fun at night. Grateful I live 2 miles away. Enjoy them whilst they last!
I bet it’s interesting with lights!
You really are lucky living two miles away, great riding on your doorstep 👍

Bummed by aliens or eaten by wolves? It’s the question that has been debated for hundreds of years by the World’s greatest minds 😂
awesome place looked much drier than last time you were there. Sick riding as always
Thanks mate and yeah, it's pretty damned good there. It was actually riding far better last time with a bit of moisture in the ground; it was maybe a bit too loose on this day 👍
Stopadoodledoo I will get there one day hopefully 🙏🔥
I am in buddy, looking forward to your vids..
Cheers Mick, there's a whole back catalogue of my bizarre mix of trail riding, swearing and upsetting people to go through 😂

Yheeez dude! Great footage as always! Some amazing trails too! You ride pretty good! 🤟 Keep on shredding!

Thanks mate, it was a fun but tough day all told really. No poo though, thank God 😂
Fair play going solo on the steeps, some of those trails look mint! Great vid and commentary again 🤙
Cheers mate. Oswestry is well worth a visit. Some trails (mainly the steep one) are full on but there’s loads of others that aren’t ridiculous
Hope you're alright after the tumble Mate. Great trails and great riding otherwise. 👍
All recovered a day or so after thanks mate, bit of concussion I think, although that could have been the result of the beers I had that evening 😂

Sorry should add. The Cruddy is mint. It’s about 1.5 miles away towards H2O MX centre. You’d have to look for it on Strava.

@@adrianholmes5477 I ride bucknell a bit but was told good things about cruddy by Al bond, how would I get there 👍
How can you ride that crazy stiff line and still keep talking?
I guess it's because I am a gobshite and never know when to shut up 😂
@@Stopadoodledoo 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣but hey I like your channel, look forward to see more new version of your mtb explore.
Thanks mate. This coming Monday’s video is quite different to this one (I didn’t fall off for starters 😂), one of my favourite rides of the year 👍
