Just beautiful. I was a bit disappointed to find it was originally written for piano. Sounds much better to me on the oboe.

This is just good music. It's so cute and memorable. And Katherine will you STOP sounding so incredible and changing the world with your advocacy?! I can't admire you any more than I already do.

Isn't it great when you find a collaborator whose musical sensibilities so closely match your own?
Seriously, though - I'm not an oboist, but for every moment where I would be impressed by someone doing it on a single-reed instrument, I just figure it's probably that much harder on oboe. Totally masterful playing, and music-making.

Wonderful performances. Much applause for both of you. Plus I learned there's a composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor as a counterpoint to the poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
