Reading slumps are way more relatable than not having slumps.😮 I was like, "This is just going to sound smug if I say I don't get slumps."😅 Still, here's hoping some ideas work for you 💛✨️
Totally agree that eclectic reading means fewer (or no) reading slumps. I always have about a dozen ebooks in my queue but only a couple of those appeal to me at any given time 😊
Great video Katja! I am behind my reading goals this year. I did not realize that the books I have been reading ultimately impact my mood 😅 i have been reading a lot of novels that deal with heavy topics and after an otherwise productive sprint, i fall into a slump! Its always good to have variety 😊
I noticed it the most after reading a really difficult but important book about homelessness. I read it when lots of stuff was happening in my life, I had just left my long-term relationship, there was stuff happening at work, and then I read this book. That's when I had a full week of not reading to just recalibrate, and the next books I read were all easy and light.

Variety feels key, and it sounds like you had a similar experience ✨️

I definitely use all formats and read different genres at a time. I need to catch up on Storygraph 😊 Wonderful video!
I sometimes bulk input my reads into storygraph at the end of the month and want to start inputting weekly. Thanks, Summer 💛✨️
