I have been wanting a certain Pilot pen for 3 years...when the pen magazine comes I instantly look for that pen in hopes that it is somehow on sale! Someday.............
I think you mean Kakimori? . It's pronounced, "kah-kee", not "ka-ka", which is something else entirely. 😬 I too succumbed to the same temptation and bought the TWSBI ECO-T in Royal Jade Rose Gold, but with a Fine nib. How do you like the Medium Nib? Going forward, do you think you'll buy more TWSBI nibs?
Thank you for the pronunciation guide! I hate saying things incorrectly! I probably won’t buy more medium nor will I buy a broad. I have one in my collection to explore inks with and I’m happy with that
I was always under the impression that Eco's don't post securely. It could very well be a 'me' problem haha. I don't like writing with nibs larger than a Fine nib. I recently realize that I'm okay with using a medium or broad as long as they are grounded to an italic or cursive-smooth italic. Something about the variation makes the thick lines more appealing. Maybe you can consider getting a custom grind on one of your larger nibs? Just a thought. You mentioned at the end of the video that you're considering doing a nib review. Those kinds of videos are always helpful! I look forward to that video of yours, if you decide to film it. Thank you for posting! The pen and ink combo really do compliment each other. Hope you'll have a nice weekend!
Thank you!!! It has started to post just fine. My experience with Eco’s is that they do post just fine which is why I was thrown off with this one. I like the medium but it would be difficult for me to journal with in my Hobonichi given the grid size. I like your suggestion of getting a custom grind!
I love TWSBIs, I have a 580 Diamond ALR (M) and an ECO (F) and they both they write so smoothly! I think I actually like my fine nib better than the medium (even though I am a default medium nib kinda girl) as they write so wet! I have also never had an ink dry out in my TWSBIs, the ECO is such a great value pen! Thanks for sharing :)
@@thejoyinpensandpaper890 yay! I also thought it was such an odd pairing when they released it, such an exciting unique pen colorway with a boring blue??? But I have also heard from others the same as you, that it is actually a lovely color.

Which pilot pen is it?

I just tried the midnight blue ink that it came with today and it’s actually a really nice ink color!
