Phobia Phear Coaster is the newest roller coaster at Lake Compounce. This Premier Rides Sky Rocket II features a multi-pass launch, the tallest inversion in New England, and some powerful airtime moments.

This was the first inversion coaster that I’ve ever road. I was super scared but it turned out to be tons of fun. That was last week.

It been there since 2018
When I was there, relatively few people seemed to be willing to ride this--they were really freaked out by it--and it made the lines quite short, almost a walk-on. It made me wonder about "comfort collars", which Phobia doesn't have--of course, enthusiasts hate them because they provide the opposite of comfort, putting this ride on the short list of the *best* Sky Rocket IIs, but maybe the psychological reassurance they give non-enthusiasts is genuinely important for making this kind of ride popular. Of course, "psychological reassurance" isn't exactly consistent with the theme of Phobia Phear Coaster.
This one also seems to have the shortest wait of the park's coasters since it's the most efficient.
Yeah, but I went to lake compounce yesterday, and since the wildcat was closed for the 2023 season, everybody went to the Zoomerang, and surprisingly, the Phobia Phear had a extremely long line! I waited about 30 minutes just to make it to the next turn
Idk I went on it as my second roller coaster ever
The sound it makes scares me everytime I go 😂

I love phobia, This is my second favorite ride at lake compunce (1st is boulder dash) i was so scared to go on it, and it turned out to be so much fun! Lake compunce is very close to me and its my home park so

Seems like it’s gonna be running fast this season. I wonder what they are gonna do with wildcat, they said a project is coming for wildcat and it’s gonna be closed for the 2023 season.

Roller coasters make a great pre-flight test to see if young men and women feel they would qualify for fighter pilot training.
Some similarities.
I was so scared to ride this but when I got on it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought! It was super smooth and fun!!! Didn’t scream once!

Tigris is the only SR2 I've ridden. They are definitely fun rides even if they are short.

My school jazz band just did the high note festival here! Took a friend on this as his first rollercoaster, and he loved it. Back row too. Later took him front row on Boulder dash before we got on the bus home!

I rode this coaster it was so fun. I was holding for dear life when I was turned upside down. It was also my first coaster ever. Don't know why but during the ride it was going so fast my neck starting hurting. Did this happen to any of you guys?

Ive been to lake compounce 4 times and ive wanted to ride this as my first sky rocket II and i live close by but 3 if those 4 times i went it was closed and the one time it was open i was young and didnt like rollercoasters 😢

@@CanobieCoaster Im planning on going this summer so 8 hope so! I am also planning on going to Hershey park for the first time as well as possibly Six Flags over grorgia when i go fown to visit family. Will be fun and i can get more creds.

Imo, phobia is a top 25 coaster for me
Sky Rocket 2's may be clones, but they are good coasters.
I think Skyrocket II’s have very good forces, but those comfort collars are annoying. This looks to be a big improvement.
I enjoy the added freedom.
When I went on this, some little kid with glasses pull up next to me and started talking smack about whoever was scared of it and started saying he wasn’t scared at all, this is his second time or something🤣🤣 bro was all alone too I was baffled he got more balls than me when I was his age

If they're thinking of removing matazuma's revenge at Knotts Berry farm. They should replace it with this kind of coaster.

I went here for my middle school senior trip I went in this twice the first time I had to push my knees against the padding cause I started to feel me slipping out right when we started hanging upside down

@@IlyEmrah bruh ur not gonna fall out lol comfort collars did nothing in the first place. They were meant to make the GP feel more secure. Roller coasters are safer than cars and pretty much impossible to fall out of unless you are not eligible to ride.
