Any increase in loss would increase the time to recover

I am a small/mid cap swing trader. I follow 1% risk and 3% target per trade. Currently in a drawdown of 9%. Even a 30% drawdown is bearable for me because I trade with very little capital. But I am thinking of increasing my capital when I get out of the drawdown.
