*Who’s going to game this right away? This is a game changer for a few reasons but No.1 think how often you use your hybrid.. ALOT RIGHT?!! So it has a big impact on your scoring*
Thanks! I've always been fortunate in hitting my hybrids pretty well -- but not all the time and I couldn't figure out the whys and wherefores! Now it becomes clear -- just in time for some early season golf!
I just bought a 3 hybrid as well! Never hit a hybrid before but heard they’re good to play out of the rough so bought one for gapping between 3 wood and 4 iron, and also because I play out of the rough a lot
Great tips Alex. I am working on using my 4&5 hybrids to give me the distance since I am older and my irons don’t do it for me anymore. I will work on your tips. Thanks again.
It is truely special how you keep coming up with pointers to help us all out outside of a driver, 2 wood and sand wedge I have only hybrids in my bag this will be very helpful Thank you again
Hey Alex, you have help me improve my game so much this Summer, thank you! Since I am watching your hybrid video you probably know I have trouble with them. Well actually I hit them pretty well off the ground BUT I tend to pull or over draw when using them off the tee, but nothing consistent, any suggestions?
I recently switched out of my irons with steel shafts. Because of my age, 75, I needed to generate more swing speed and the hybrids (not my wedges) had more forgiveness and whippy flex which generated more swing speed (by 15 mph). Since they are a little longer, it has taken me a little time to get used to them, but I'm glad I switched. Your lesson is spot-on. As always, thanks!
Excellent job Alex on how to play the hybrid RIGHT! I usually play my hybrid shot one ball left of center, ordinarily where I play my mid-irons from. I do hit slightly down on the shot and usually have no problem in getting the ball in the air. I notice you play the Cleveland Hibore hybrid and I've just recently put a Cleveland Gliderail 3 hybrid in my bag to go along with my Cleveland Launcher driver and fairway woods. Well Done Alex!
I watched this video in the morning and tonight I tried the tip it worked and had me hitting the hybrid great and I didnt know I needed the drill ARMPITS AND ANKLES but yeah brilliant 😂 cheers Alex
Good session Alex. Like the one clubhead off left heel, narrow stance (relatively) and armpits over ankles. Wouldn't this work with a7-wood? stay safe--Russ
Hi Alex, love the videos! I just replaced my 3 wood with the new BRNR Mini Driver. I’ve had mixed results hitting it off the deck and would love your thoughts on a consistent approach to follow. Can I simply apply your tips of hitting woods better? Or do we need to vary slightly considering the longer shaft, bigger head, lower loft, etc…thanks again, look forward to your videos every day!
Lovely new set up that!! Hitting off deck is hard, i'm not going to let, yeah you can certainly hit woods for sure, give it a go and please let me know how you get on 🙌🏼
Great video I am one of them people. However, I am struggling with all my long irons from 6 》3 wood. Any tips to hitting straighter? Apparently my release is not correct and I am pulling the club during my swing so the club face is coming across the ball causing a left too right. Ideas to fix???
Thanks, tonight I have a great video actually that will help, you need to be staying connected in the backswing as this will help it a lot, tune in to tonights video and let me know how you get on
Good stuff Alex, I get it all. However you're title says "use my cheat method"... what? Ball position? Hit down? Feet at armpit width? None of these are new "cheat methods". I'm a chronic watcher of dozens of coaches. You're among the best. But if there's no new method then call it another reinforcing of technique :) Cheers!
It’s not at all, this channel is powered by the viewers, so i produce content to help all levels of golfers, some tips are more progressed some are not :)
Why doesn't he show the moment of striking up front. All the time he shows a bit and when striking the camera point is from behind. To much talking and to little to see at moment of impact club on the ball.
*Who’s going to game this right away? This is a game changer for a few reasons but No.1 think how often you use your hybrid.. ALOT RIGHT?!! So it has a big impact on your scoring*
I will try it tomorrow! Fingers crossed
Alex. This drill worked so well. 1 hour down the range with my towel. Brilliant. Always struggled with hybrids. Now..... boooooommmmmm. Thanx pal. 😁👍
Booooom love it!!!
“Ankles and armpits!” That’s a good one for this club! 😍👏 Thank you!
Thanks! I've always been fortunate in hitting my hybrids pretty well -- but not all the time and I couldn't figure out the whys and wherefores! Now it becomes clear -- just in time for some early season golf!
i bought a new 3 hybrid last week - looking forward to trying some of these right away...especially the ball position and width of stance!
I just bought a 3 hybrid as well! Never hit a hybrid before but heard they’re good to play out of the rough so bought one for gapping between 3 wood and 4 iron, and also because I play out of the rough a lot
Many thanks was the edge of packing the game up
Now I think that with the drill I can make a comeback 👍🤩

i've always had trouble playing with hybrids. Hopefully this will be an easy fix with practice. Thanks!
Alex, outside of your always awesome tips, your energy and enthusiasm is infectious! Love it, you are a great start to my day :).
I appreciate that!
Thank you! Great video, really helped my game

You are welcome!

hahaha love that 🤣🤣🤣
Hello Alex, so is it ankles and armpits for the driver and woods as well or just hybrids?
Thanks Alex, I can now be more confident handling with some pressure moments with my hybrids
Lovee this!
Good session Alex. Like the one clubhead off left heel, narrow stance (relatively) and armpits over ankles. Wouldn't this work with a7-wood? stay safe--Russ
Great tip Alex, I’ll try this tomorrow at the range. Golf course shut with all the rain we’ve had😢
Oh god, please stop rain!! Let me know how you get on with the drill

Love that Christopher! I’m expecting shortly too!!
Congrats to you and your new family 🙌🏼
@AlexElliottGolf thank you very much, awwww congratulations to you!!
Alex, how high should you typically tee up a hybrid when hitting from the tee box? Split the top line or iron tee height?
I will for sure cover this in another video! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
So well explained Alex first class
Nice video. Keep them Coming
Thank you kimly 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
great tips as always
Thank you Stuart
Alex, 71 yrs young, 9.5 hc, have “shorter” 6 and 7 hybrids…same ball position?

Hi! Yes, i have a video on this tonight that will really help!
So what hybrid would I use instead of a 5 iron. One of my favourite clubs is my 7 wood I'm an 11 handicap at 68 yrs old ?
I love the 7 wood tooo.. i would use hybrid instead of 5 iron though
Great video. Thanks!
Well done alex 🏌♂️ 😊
Thank you Roy!!!
Thanks Alex
